i just started a JV with somebody to make a instagram influencer account.

I have verified the account (IG) and he owns the email?

Is there any safety precuations I should take? if worst comes to worst?

Whoever has access to the original email of the account has control whether they have login information or not.

Operating a jointly-owned IG account comes with its risks. As pointed out by @froger, your partner would have ruling over the account in the event the partnership went sour due to his/her ownership of the email on the account.

From what I've seen, it's never a good idea to share any form of account, it will only end badly specially if you are the lesser half, people are greedy.

Hi @John Winter,

Trusting somebody on your account is not easy.
You should own the email so that you have full control of the account
The two-factor authentication should be on, every time you log into Instagram from an unknown device you'll be asked to enter an SMS security code or backup code in addition to your username and password.
