Instagram "It Was Me" Verification Loop

I replied to your support forum post but haven't heard back from you. So incase you see this first, please get back to me.

However, I am not hearing of people getting an "it was me" loop. I have seen slightly more people with the verification loop this week and more reports that the verification code email was *not* received. But these have all been fake / bulk accounts on proxies (never on actual accounts on local IP). However the reports are slightly higher than usual (and not effecting everyone). But that does give *some* evidence that something has changed.

So if you can get back to me ASAP I can investigate further

I am having same issue - I am able to login into the web browser with no issue and the "this is me" loops on the web browser as well, it is only the tool that has the issue. FL

Try changing the password and verify the accounts through your bot API, worked for most of the accounts where i had the loop.
How is API different than browser - curious to learn more about this method

I'm having this problem too. Recently my accounts don't have action blocks anymore but straight up PV and sometimes EV

I'm not receiving this issue or any verifications as of recently for a while now. It's a good chance your account(s) are flagged as bots, so it won't matter how many times or which proxies you switch to. Once your account is flagged as a possible bot, im not sure how you get it unflagged.. maybe abstinence for a few days? If you intend on automating for the long run, run your accounts safely.. like a human, literally. Alot of people automate, just how bots are expected to bot.. thousands of likes, thousands of follows, spamm the comments, spammy DMs all in one day.. and then when they run into all these different issues they're not sure why, or think it's something wrong with their bot. No, it's something wrong with the way you're automatting your accounts. I've had maybe 3 pv's, and 2 ev's in the past 3 months, and that's with 500+ accounts.

Play it smart, run it like a marathon and not a sprint. A sprint is only going to lead you to all these verification issues. Everyday there are 2 or 3 threads with people asking about have you been experiencing this? I think it's ig algo, or i think its jarvee , or I think it's gmt2. No, it's your automation technique. I can promise you if you take the time to set your settings properly, you won't be going thru those issues. And btw a 1/3 of my accounts are on ipv6 proxies, the only thing I experience with them is blocks occasionally which will happen no matter how you set your software. Just some food for thought, even if only one person stops applys the advice I've given, then I'm content.. but honestly, everyone running into those issues should.

No I dont think you get this..
This isn't about Aggressive following/like/DM Or whatever.. All old acc loaded with proxy before now are all WORKING FINE
.
The acc having this problem are even aged (even mine was created manually a long time not bought) acc but newly loaded into the bot with proxy..
So it doesn't even matter the settings,, as you havnt even successfully loaded the acc into your bot

age doesn't mean anything to IG now. All my 5 years aged accounts got action block and pv all the day while my few weeks aged accounts still doing good.

I don't know honestly, but it's a different login mechanism. So when your bot logs in through the API IG thinks it's a suspicious login, therefore, the challenge. I had this exact same verification loop with a lot of bought accounts. The only thing that helped, in the end, is to let them rest for 3-4 days. Then, import with a completely new account (but same proxy IP), so you get new Device ID's and cookies, change the Password. Of course, I got the same verifications again, but then after verifying one last time through the API they now all work.

As far as I know, tools like FL are using mobile side API which has more tolerance when it comes to actions.
For example, by using a residential IP address you can unfollow about 5 accounts in a row (using an aged account, +7 years, PV, EV) but by using the official app (or it's API) this amount can be increased up to 16 accounts per second.

Exactly... this isn't about age or settings

Its easy, in you profile there should be information that you need confirm your email. After done that i have no issue to run account.

Account age doesn't play a huge factor as it once did, IG already knows people were buying aged accounts and selling them, so it's not that much of a factor. I think you don't get it, if your account has been flagged as a possible bot from current or previous actions.. then youre going to continue to run into issues until they/if they remove said flag. So you can switch the account to different proxies, and it will make no difference. I work on IG automation daily, and have for a few years now.. I'm not experiencing any of these issues. There's alot more to it all then what you read on the forum, shit I don't even know it all.. but I know enough to keep my accounts from being hit with verifications and the such. Good luck though, I hope you figure it out.

For me when i have a "it was me loop" i just reset device ID and i wait 1 hour. After 1 hour just verify account with api (with jarvee). It work for me all time. Good luck all

I don't think this is a Proxy issue... Many people including myself has been having this issue up to a week now...
I've tried a lot of proxy and can say it's not Proxy issue,, I think Instagram made an Update and probably developers have to make some changes to their software and patch up..
.
Or may be this is a bug directly from Instagram.. and they themselves need to make an Update
it's one their ways to combat botting, which (hopefully) shows how weak they really are at detecting bots... Thankfully, this isn't an issue when you have local custom built proxy servers from your/clients' locations, basically loggin your bots from the accounts' master IP

Howdy,

Anyone saying that this is an issue experienced only by unsophisticated users is wrong. I'm running hundreds of accounts, none of which are typical "bot" accounts, from an array of different proxy providers. When entering new accounts, we started getting absolutely slammed with login loops and 6-digit codes about the same time referenced by other users in this thread.

I have been experimenting with modifying my code and trying random methods just for the sake of getting some data points. Unfortunately, my conclusion at this point is that Instagram flagged huge swaths of IP ranges from popular proxy providers. We went from a loop rate of 10% to 90%.

It could be, happened in the past as well but the same providers are working fine to me on all my clients but not for one particular account.

All of my existing accounts are working fine. How many new clients have you had since the beginning of the month? I have had over 30, which is a decent sample size.

You have to login via the browser, and revoke all apps. After that you can change the password. Good luck

You nailed it... Everyone's old acc are all WORKING FINE from same proxy provider..
But trying to login new acc on the bot is a big problem.. Not related to aggressive settings at all..

A 1/3 of my accounts are still running on ipv6 proxies from a popular proxy provider that other people are using that are experiencing verification loops from.. so I can't say whether that is their issue or not, because I don't know if they're on a different subnet than I.

But these same people have multiple accounts on the same subnet and not all of them are having the issue so it's more than likely something other than that.
