No proxies. No bots. No automation. All 100% genuine just using the IG mobile app or IG in the browser.
Still I'm experiencing the same login verification loop issue for many of my clients - all clean accounts. My team members login to clients' accounts from their home IP address. Now, as of beginning of August, we're getting this verification loop. We'll login, request our client give us the security code, enter it, and get into the account. Then, we log out. Next time we login, we get verification loop again. This has never happened before, but now it's happening at a very high %.
Anyone have suggestions?

Your team members login to the accounts from home IP, that is different from source IP? or is it run with VPN and relayed through client's IP?
Is not then that is your issue. you are bouncing around IP's

We do not use any VPN. Try to do everything genuine / per IG terms of service. Team members login from home IP. Client has their own IP.
Example:
Client may be anywhere in world but usually USA-based. So assume they have US IP.
Team members login from Phillippines so they have different IP. Client goes through the "It was Me" process with us. We get in. Then logout and login only to be met with the verification loop again. This never happened before and we've been doing this for a year.
Again, No proxies. No bots. No automation. No VPNs. All 100% genuine just using the IG mobile app or IG in the desktop browser.
If we're having issue, that would mean any other agency, social media manager, or virtual assistant (VA) should be having the same issue as they would be doing the same steps. So I'm looking to hear whether anyone else that operates the legit way has figured out how to get past this annoying issue.

Sorry but that doesn't sound legit at all, you're leaving a huge footprint by logging in to the IG account now from the US and from the Phillipines the next minute.
The right way to do it would be to tell your employees in the Phillipines to proxi their phones or laptops for them to log in and work in the accounts from a place near where your client is logging in from.

Thanks for the tip @mylastvacation. I'm using the term legit to reflect that we're not trying to game IG. Up to now, we only had to do perform the "It Was Me" process with clients once, and thereafter seemed as though IG essentially whitelisted our team members IP / associated with that client's account. So my team members could login daily and work on the client account without issue. We never had to deal with verification loops or even IPs / proxies before and been operating fine for a year.
What you're suggesting requires us to trick IG - by using a VPN - into thinking the login is from near the client's location. The problem with that is that every client will be in a different city, state, and potentially another country. For example, one client can be from California, another from NYC, another from London, and another from Paris.
We're just trying to do good without engaging in any workarounds that would violate IG's ToS. I'm sure many celebrities, influencers, and businesses have VAs, social media managers, or agencies that are logging into their accounts. These third parties are not using proxies or VPNs - most wouldn't even know how to setup a proxy. So how would someone legitimately be able to help a client with their account?

Try eliminating the use of the browser when logging in, and just use the app since you're not using any automation or proxies. Alot of automation tools use browser manipulation, so by using the browser to login it may be raising flags on top of the multiple location login points.
As others said, the fact that the account is being logged in from multiple locations, especially from different countries it's only natural that you're getting presented with the "was this you".

Never experienced that myself, maybe one or both of the IPs you're using are flagged.. or you just have horrible luck. I can bounce IP's all in the same local location and never get a verification.not true about locations

I had this same issue the past two weeks.
I just had to verify 10x times per account before they went away... (never changed the original proxy - just kept it the same and brute forced verify)
It's really time consuming but the only solution I've seen thus far.

Your solution is this...
Either rent a proxy that is in the clients city. (Texas)
Datacenter proxies kind of relay just the location you requested so it may still trigger flags.
Residential proxies are best suited, and allow you to pinpoint an exact state and city, but are costly and would be a challenge to find subcitys on demand, as most are just pools with random geo.
And your last option would be to establish a network connection inside the clients network and essentially create a proxy.
Then you would use VPN tactics on mobile and web to be masked by proxies.
Would be done with simple device such as raspberry pi, or other device that can be used for networking by client.

Lots of things have changed on IG's platform, and will continue to do so. You are bouncing IPs from country to country. Big red flag

He's trying to get this done without the use of proxies and/or a vpn, as he doesn't want to feel like he is breaking IGs TOS.

in that case you would need to set a dedicated device(s) such an an android phone.
The client's instagram account will be on that phone connected to thier network, and then you would remote into the phone via something like teamviewer quick support or directly VNC, And control the account remotely via android.

if you're using GMT2, the workaround is logging in through "home" IP, essentially establishing that "handshake" needed to get in, and then switch proxy to whatever you need as if nothing happened.. does the trick with low quality proxy servers. If you're using Jarvee - idk, honestly...

In jarvee, first log in with your local ip. When say VALID, put the proxy. Remember in PROXY MANAGER mark the option "keep accounts valid when ip change".
that is the solution.

This isn't true. Even with a verified email you still get this loop.
