Instagram influencer question (working with brands)

So I purchased an aged account and started growing it. Got to 2000 followers, great engagement and Instagram now shows the original name the account had when purchased. In the long run do you think this would affect brands wanting to work with me? Its just a random name of a person the previous name but is different to the name on the account now?

Any thoughts?

your better of doing affiliate marketing, than working with brands.
millionaire mentor made millions in affiliate commisions, by placing affiliate links in his bio
2k wont be enough to work with brands, 5k would be the minimum, and the profile has to look authentic, so no old name should show.

Yeah i was going to monetize at 10k followers was just seeing if I should grow a different one instead if the name change will affect people working with me.
 
You can work with brands only if you are a real, well known and verified influencer, not a purchased account

The name change might affect your activity with brands. It may leave your followers a bit confused because they see a name they do not recognize. Do you have the original email for the account?

You can start monetizing a profile trough dms from 500 folowers, and affiliate marketing from 1000 die hard fans, influencing with free products 5/10k , depending if you want free products, or payment per post., i change my profile names all the time, and i noticed that one of my Ecomm profiles, still had a adult related name for a while, but after 10 days/ 2 weeks, the old name was no longer showing

Thanks the account has great engagement at the moment so it definitely has potential

What affiliate network do you recomend?
 
It's not matter. You can monetize both. Once you hit 10K followers some brands would be happy to work with you so you can offer them a shoutout package, or simple register ti aff network like maxbounty and find an offer that will fits on your audience , build a landing page and start earn.

Thanks the page is growing a lot better than I thought I didn't expect IG to show my previous as one of my other accounts didnt get it till over 200k followers
 
I'm personally an influencer and say it really doesn't matter how many followers you have but more about the quality and engagement of your content. I don't really think a brand would look too far into your old name, they're too busy looking at too many other things.
