Instagram incompatibilities with sms service

Hi guys!
Need your help with the following issue.
I use textverified.com as an sms OTP service. With Gmail everything is ok! I receive verification code without any issues.
But when it comes to IG it does not send the code for verification.
1. Has anyone else teted the textverified service with IG?
2. Can you recommend any other proven to work alternative sms verification service for IG?

They're notoriously strict about numbers from those virtual sms services, so textverified probably got flagged, you might have better luck trying a peer-to-peer number rental service or honestly just getting a cheap burner sim for ig specifically

Im looking for a cheap solutions to make many instagram accounts with high trust score
 
The phone number is actually the last piece of the trust puzzle — Instagram checks device fingerprint and IP first. A premium SIM on a recycled emulator fingerprint still gets flagged. For high-trust bulk accounts: unique device fingerprint per account (Adspower with mobile profiles or cheap real Androids), mobile residential proxy geo-matched to registration country, and 7 days of organic-looking behavior before any automation. Get those three right and even mid-tier SMS services work fine.

Most sms services dont work with IG cause numbers are flagged or reused too much. You need fresh real sim numbers or good quality private ones or codes just wont come.
 
For me for some reason gmail doesn't work as well, it gives me qr code to scan from a mobile phone instead of SMS, and then wants me to send an sms for verification. Does anyone have the same issue??? It might be an issue with my geo tho
 
Instagram is extremely strict with virtual phone numbers from services like TextVerified because they are frequently flagged or reused too many times, resulting in verification codes not being received. To overcome this, you should prioritize using peer-to-peer (P2P) phone number rental services or directly purchasing a cheap, disposable physical SIM card; only clean numbers from real SIM cards can pass the platform's rigorous security filters.
 
Your IP is flagged. In that case; use a 4G IP and rotate it when you retrieve the code. This will show as a new IP when you receive any code for verification.

This is not feasible in all countries, as in some places its too expensive and in some places you require identity verification, and its illegal as well to hold that many sim cards at once.

OP, Have you tried smspva.com? This works good.

Also note that select good countries, as some country numbers are flagged already, but some countries work. So its not always about the service not working, but its also the country numbers that are spammed, especially the ones which are dirt cheap, as there would be many people getting it with the same thinking as yours to buy cheap ones.

Gmail is easy, IG is strict — for IG, real mobile > SMS service

Meta is strict indeed. However I did try this service in the past and it worked fine back then. But maybe it got stricter now.
 
I’ve had similar issues with TextVerified on IG. Sometimes Instagram just doesn’t accept certain SMS services for OTP. I haven’t tested TextVerified with IG specifically, but I’d recommend trying services like Twilio or SMSPVA, which are more reliable for Instagram. Just make sure the service you choose has good delivery rates for Instagram’s SMS system.
 
Yeah, IG is picky with numbers

– Most virtual/SMS services get blocked → IG often won’t send codes to them
– Better use real SIM / residential number, way more reliable
 
Yeah, that’s normal - Instagram blocks most SMS services like TextVerified now. The numbers are usually flagged or overused, so codes just don’t get sent.

Works fine for Gmail, but IG is much stricter.

Best options right now: real SIM/eSIM or fresh numbers with low usage. Otherwise expect low success rate with any SMS service.

It's generally quite difficult to receive SMS these days. When you register, you receive a code via email for any provider, but SMS only works for very reliable numbers.
