Instagram business account issues

1) If a an automation program is used for a business profile (follow/unfollow modules only, limits up to 800/day, account is very old) and I try to login to account directly with my device I get an error - "Please wait a few minutes before you try again". Never happened with non business accounts which are running on the same program. After stopping the program - this error is gone for all.

2) After using a program for a few weeks and stopping I receive way less likes for posts than before using a program. Does it have anything to do that my following number is still increased and instagram flags my posts as less important? Looks like a penalty. Nothing else has changed.

it may have something to do with your follow/unfollow limit as 800 actions per day is a bit aggressive.

Engagement tends to decrease over time. May not be a result of your account actions.

Agree, Looking aside from how you are following users and whether these are targeted or not, the point is engagement will drop regardless once you stop the bot or hit road bumps.

The main factor for engagement when you are heavily following new users is that - Nearly all if not most of the folks who follow you back will go into your images and like them right there and then, this is where the engagement peaks as you have either recently posted or there account has limited followers so you are popping up all over for them to like images. This is the best time to create a viral image, and when you stop the bot or stop following you will see it trickle over a day or two then go back to its organic state at a lower amount of likes per new image.

Simple answer is keep following until you reach a high lvl of organic likes on your images with the goal of hitting peoples discover tabs. Mix up your hashtags also and you should start hitting some new areas and reap the rewards of organic followers flowing in. (This is where niche is critical as if you don't have something people actually want to follow your fighting an uphill battle)
