Instagram Business Account Advantage?

Instagram offered me the option to upgrade some of my accounts to the new business accounts.
I was wondering if these bring (besides the known features like stats and contact option) an additional advantage for our money making activities. Perhaps they give your account a little trust boost and help your internal ranking?
Since they are made for businesses perhaps the use of domains in bios or the usage of some words (free, giveaway, IG) is less restricted.
Does someone have experience with the new account model?

I had converted an insta account to business and tried boosting and it gave me very less amount of reach as compared to a personal account.
 
I've heard that the business accounts have a bit less restriction on the amount of actions they can perform. So you can follow or like a lot more than a personal account.

But I haven't tested it myself yet, so take some caution.
 
I have some business accounts.

PRO : You can take more actions on your account without beeing banned.
CON : Lower engagement.

I heard that too, would be interesting to have a comparison if the engagement (and reach) really drop after you switch account type.

Thank you, one would assume the opposite..

Nevertheless the stats would be interesting, to know when and from where your users are coming. But I guess you can track that with a website in your bio (and GA) too.

Latest picture before business after one day: 19,7k likes
Picture right after setting business: 6,8k after 16 hours
Second picture after setting business: Only 1,5k likes in the first hour (1k less likes), after turning off business it catched back up, now at 11k after 21
New picture after turning off business: 8k after 4 hours, everything as good as before

It's enough proof for me to never use business again. It's kinda understandable. They set down the reach for people with business, so that they have to buy promotions. lol

Since its Facebooks baby now, its all about advertising...
 
I noticed a HUGE drop in engagement once I changed one of my 60k+ accounts. I'm switching back to personal now as it was a terrible decision. Hoping it reverts back smoothly as I was nervous once done, even if switched back to personal, if it would be the same as before? Anyone know one way or the other?

I reverted back to personal account but still getting this analytics option and analytics data when i tap that analytics icon. Was my switching worked or not?
