Instagram ads rolling out & engagement going down

Confirm, also have spotted engagement drop

my engagement went up 3% after update and i didn't change anything in my targeting.

Money brings money. Instagram worths a lot and they are doing their move, that's it and we need to accept that.
Everyone should have the possibility to monetize their business.

i run a 99K car pages, engagement has dropped from 2,200 likes per photo down to like 1,750-1,900 the past few days, seems like i've been stuck in the 1,700-2,300 like range since i had like 57K months ago, i don't know what's up, all my followers are real and i grow pretty slow and only post the greatest, eye-catching cars but can't get my likes to go up per photo, other pages i work with seem the same, even 150K+ pages only get like 300-400 more likes per photo and i rarely post ads or SFS since i gain followers through mass follow/unfollow, who knows, if they make it so not all of our followers see our posts like on Facebook i might just smash my head through my drywall

That has nothing to do with it

Can confirm that his is totally happening to one of my smaller accounts used to get 600 likes around 2-3 weeks ago it feels like exponentially my user activity is shrinking

Seems now instagram going fb route where only way to progress is via ads.

Why would some have a drop and not others?
