Instagram 401 Error while scraping hashtags

I searched forum and didn’t find anyone struggling with same issue so I am opening new thread.

I am scraping Instagram hashtags to get emails for the past 4 years, recently I started receiving an error. Namely, Instagram immediately log out my scraper account and give me 401 error, usually Instagram let my scraper go through 15 posts on hashtags and then log it out, making it useless. It doesn’t ban or suspend accounts, it just log them out.

Out of 20 accounts for example, Instagram log out 20 and 4 works perfectly.

I am using chrome extension for scraping, tried different extensions and software but problem is still there. I tried other chromium based browser as Brave, three different laptops, accounts from various sellers, different IP, nothing helps.

I would like to point that problem occurred in mid June this year, then it goes away for a week or two (accounts work perfectly on the same settings), then again accounts don’t work and again work etc till today. If anyone have any advice please let me know.

Instagram has now put a limit on everything.
So much so that even in saving the post, Instagram accounts now fall into verification. You can avoid this with too many different accounts and proxies. But remember, this situation will not be stable.

I tried with proxies and hundreds of accounts. It is problem that Instagram instantly somehow knows that bot is going through the hashtag posts and log it out automatically & instantly after 15 posts.

Which residual proxy do you use and can you provide a link or information?

Accounts were problem, I used several sellers accounts but all of them are not creating them frequently enough. For me to work, accounts have to be freshly created as they managed to create them before, for the past months they are struggling with creating freshly scraping accounts & Instagram immediately mark them as a spam and give 401 error.

I just hired someone to scrape for me at the moment.

Scraping the page is simply not an option with Instagram anymore if you want reliability. You need to use a reverse engineered API such as Instagrapi

Try using some different tools. (Maybe Jarvee/Susocial or Socinator ).
