Influencing suggest for benefit

SEO MOZ published a great White Board Firday featuring Rand last week about how Google Suggest works.

There's some great ideas in the WBF and one of the ones that carries immediate 'actions' for a lot of SEOs.

Here's my list of items that we're going to focus on more to try and lift ourselves into the top suggested spot. What are yours?

- increase mentions of words (non anchors)
- news titles
- unique users
- geography of searchers
- branding
- product naming
- content marketing
- forums, blogs
- bookmarks

i always wondered if you could influence suggest. i thought about making a bot and having it do a bunch of searches to test it and see if i could change what shows up.
