Inflation ruined everything

I got laid off at work, but now on sick leave no one can pressure me into some stupid low-pay jobs since I'm on the insane papers. I can do some other productive stuff while still going slowly on dept, lol.
Ohh, insane papers in my country are absolutely useless unless you have 6 or so of them. I have only two... Four more. It will take me years to collect them.

Oh sorry, mixed up words there. I'm on sick leave, based on mental reason. At this moment when construction work is down my company is probably just happy some little foreman is gone.

Where should we go? :)
Living conditions in Türkiye are much worse than in Europe and America.
The minimum wage is 17500 TL, that is 543 dollars. If the dollar rises like this, it will drop to $437 by the end of the year.
iPhone 15 128 GB is 1546 dollars, Tesla Model Y is 56000 dollars, rent is the cheapest 310 dollars, meat is 16 dollars per kilo, milk is 1.30 dollars, bread is 0.23 dollars.
The pension is $310. Almost the same as rent. The room is average price or below. Prices are much higher in popular places.
Paypal withdrew from the country. No Stripe, wise closed individual accounts.
Doing business is very difficult. People do not spend money on anything other than essential needs. Credit card and consumer loan usage has increased tremendously.
Real inflation reaches almost 200%.
We rank 10th on the list of the most miserable countries.

This is true!

Years ago you could go blackhat and make real bank and as stuff was cheaper, you could buy a lot more!
Nowadays, duue to many improvements in platforms, blackhat has become harder, and stuff gets more expensive by the day.

but still, blackhat is profitable, you just need to learn new skills, how the top dogs make the $$$ and you can bank.
THough, as always, you need to keep learning to keep on top, else you get left behind

Official inflation values are a joke. CPI is manipulated conveniently, real inflation is probably 2x+ that.

Look up the M1 and M2 money circulation supply(the only form of inflation I pay attention to, if prices are not following it exactly, it will at some point just some delay), direct relation to purchasing power.

The other day I looked up M2 supply chart from 1960, the avg home price for 1960, and the M2 supply chart in U.S., and the modern price was pretty much the same as multiplying the number of times currency supply has doubled with the 1960 prices(actually, the caclulated price of what I home should cost today vs what it is was about 10% higher, so I expect housing to continue to rise).

Anyway, unless you have like $20m, and can put it in gov bonds and collect a guaranteed ~5% a year(would be $1m yield a year, kinda a threshold to get continually richer without having work), or other reliable investment, gotta just keep working hard to stay ahead. Hypothetically, crypto should retain value better, if it's marketshare stayed exactly the same, it'd continue to increase in relation to inflation at least.

It's only going to get worse. Really just sucks unless you can get up to the top 0.5% earning, in which case it won't hurt you.

Governments are not going to stop spending record amounts or printing more money.

Making a lot of money, and having a lot of money saved for investments that outpace inflation, is the only way to escape it.

Almost like it was designed by the top 0.1% to make everyone have to work as much as possible, well prolly was.

Housing market should be immediately banned. :D :P

I don't know what to think of the current situation.

You're either a businessman or work like a slave for the rest of your life...

In 2015 in Europe it was nice to make $2000-$4000/m to live like a king.
In 2024, you need to make $10 000 for middle class life.
Forget about living like a king

40m2 flat in Poland in city like Warsaw or Wroclaw cost $250 000. 40m2! It's not king life any more.
Rental, food, clothing, fuel - $4000/m in such cities.
It's not normal

Of course you can live nice in smaller city, for $2000/m and with flats for $125 000 but it's still small flat.

People here on BHW are very happy when they earn $20-$50/day - but here even $200/day starting to become problematic.
It's not "get rich" any more. Especialy earning money with free traffic and blackhat is harder and harder each month ;)
I agree with you . Its getting tough day by day. Especially for new people . they are getting trouble now. even its more worst now.

Except that not everything you describe is due to inflation, and you know that perfectly well.
Of course. I am European but do not vote for that xD
Good timing: you'll be able to have your say within two weeks (I don't know whether you're voting on June 6, 7, 8 or 9).

i've been living a good life here for £2.5k monthly for a long time and i could cut it down lower.
I live on 250€ since 7 years. Before then I was living on 2.5k€. The difference is that I can learn and massage a lot more.

But United Kingdom is a very expensive country.

I'm confident I won't have to make any bucks soon.

Because I'll be in prison.

HAHAHAHA

It will get worse. You'll wish back to today, saying it wasn't as bad as it will be soon.
