In 2015 in Europe it was nice to make $2000-$4000/m to live like a king.
In 2024, you need to make $10 000 for middle class life.
Forget about living like a king

40m2 flat in Poland in city like Warsaw or Wroclaw cost $250 000. 40m2! It's not king life any more.
Rental, food, clothing, fuel - $4000/m in such cities.
It's not normal

Of course you can live nice in smaller city, for $2000/m and with flats for $125 000 but it's still small flat.

People here on BHW are very happy when they earn $20-$50/day - but here even $200/day starting to become problematic.
It's not "get rich" any more. Especialy earning money with free traffic and blackhat is harder and harder each month ;)

Yup, sh** is getting out of control all over the place.

15 years ago $2000/month, half of it on the side.

10 years ago I could live a nice life with $2000/month and I remember very well that each month something will be left on the side.

Today? $2000 for a family of 3 is just to survive on some middle level, between 2nd and 3rd world country.

Bills increase month by month, electricity, water, TV, internet, mobile phones, and garbage = slowly exceed 350 euros/month.

If you have someone who is sick and old, and I have two, health insurance and everything else, but I pay almost 300 euros monthly for medicines.

Food? Pfff... One bag holds 50 euros every day, so you can't see what you bought.

+ If you kids that go to school, you know very well...

Should I say that I live in a country where the average salary is still around 500 euros/month?

It's not normal

Should I say "I agree with you"? ( :

Mate, it's getting dark, hardcore times are in front of us, really fu**ed up times.

But, despite everything, the head must be up, as long as I'm healthy I know I will be able to provide for my family, so let health take care of us and everything else will fall into place.

... and earnings from blackhat / grayhat / seo / social media are not increasing so fast. They mostly stay the same for years. Same comissions, bigger problems. Google, social media are making it harder and harder.
Want traffic? Pay for traffic, less loopholes each month.

Only way to go to higher level and beat inflation is white hat, maybe some SaaS or paid ads. With blackhat/grayhat stuff it's starting to be "business" for kids. Still you can make money, can achieve $100-$300, maybe temporary $500/day but forget about times with $1000-$2000/day with such stuff (and sadly such money is needed to get out from inflation trap).

Yeah. That's why lucky.sparks doesn't do only affiliate and focuses on other things like hardware too. He's busy as hell though.

It's pretty cool from what he told me. It's not really black hat but can be used for black purposes.

SaaS - you need to learn it first and it's harder to understand why it works, and what will sell en masse.

I buy cheapest products, so I don't see a diffrence. Electronics.are cheaper for me than before. Cars? That's crazy. $60k for a car that will last 5 years. Housing? I can live in a forest.

Forget king life though.

I found good relationships are more important than money.

Hang out with people on your level or around that.

...but now it's the chance to build them faster, thx to chatgpt and tools like that. Previously you needed to hire dev for few months. Today you can make same with AI and 1 week ;)

I agree. The current inflation is no joke and i am a little concerned myself that the costs might even get higher.
I see in shop every day, $50, $100, $50, $100 :D
It's interesting that food became more expensive than clothing

Yeah. Hang out with SaaS owners.

GringoMonkey, Sscaz have some. There are some opportunities in gaming niches.

No?? Food like meat is affordable. But what I see is that anything to make more flavor rich meal will cost me... $700 a month.

But shoes? $200, $300, $500. It's useless.

A little pocket I needed to store work utilities in was $30. I was like wtf.

As they say, live frugally for now.

Biedaki...

Since October of 2020, the price of meat, poultry, and fish have all risen almost 12%, according to the government's Consumer Price Index. The price of beef has climbed even more, soaring more than 20% over the last year, while chicken has climbed 7.5% and pork 14%, labor data show.

Inflation is just a tool through money printing to refunnel money from the regular population to fewer people at the top.

You just need to position yourself on the opposite side to benefit from inflation.

Χ price increasing? Invest in that company.

Y asset increasing? Add it to your portfolio. Etc.

So inflation works for you, not against you.

Polands fruit prices rose by 18%, cured meat prices increased by 9.5% - Its still high if you ask me.
Unfortunately. These products are undeniably much more expensive.

Minimalism in food was the only way to go around that.

I'm getting around 2000€ a month from my primary job in EU. But it's not enough.
It's never ENOUGH.
Food prices skyrocketed of course.
But I don't have kids or family.
Just a partner.
And 2 cars.

Now I'm slowly starting an online thing.
Will see how it goes.
If it starts well, I will make a Journey thread
