Inflation ruined everything

Unfortunately, it looks like this trend keeps continuing. And it's not only Western countries. Japan is suffering the same.

I believe this is the result of complete mismanagement and shithousery. This crap happens if you put ideology, and so on over the well-being of your people.

I live in Bangkok. Spend $900 for rent monthly, which is already considered a lot here. I got a 70sqm flat, super big living room, big balcony, swimming pool, gym, right in Downtown Bangkok.

I went to Bali often as well, but this place got invaded by fake Yoga gurus and wanna-be digital nomads. No joke, I met digital nomads there who struggled to make $300 per month because they had no skills, and just wanted to be part of this "movement".

That's great to hear! Bangkok is a really cool city, no doubt about it! I was in Thailand at the end of last year, hopping between Koh Samui, Bangkok, and Phuket. Even though I usually prefer island life, I found Bangkok's atmosphere the most appealing, despite it being a big and bustling city.

Fake Yoga gurus in Bali are based in the Ubud area, just like how you'll find them in Koh Phangan in Thailand. But I live in Canggu. Here, the community of online marketer is really great, and the locals are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Even though I've tried living in different cities across Southeast Asia, I keep coming back to Canggu. It's just the place for me.

With that being said, lately, it's been getting more expensive because there's a lot of excitement about it. But it's still cheaper than places in the west. You can rent a one-bedroom villa with a pool in a great location for just $600. And you'll even get cleaning services four days a week.
 
If you gave every person on earth 1 million dollars each and it's 7 trillion dollars, now everyone's worse of because Ferris would be locked for elites, the waiting time would be 10 years, people wouldn't work, everything would just sky rocket and the situation would be even worse, its as of having division of poor and rich is necessary otherwise everything becomes either immediately inflated or thr dollar drops and tanks that a new form of currency would be needed.

Inflation brought in woke, but also brought out the predators in the upper echelon.

No country has free life, but rent, water, etc is super cheap here. Just did initial groceries before finally moving to my (rented) house and started staring dramatically at my grocery bill while my friends were like 'this is enough for 3 weeks'. Exactly why I moved to Sri Lanka, not interested in cleaning other people's toilets. Btw, you can get a maid in Sri Lanka, she'd clean and cook. Or order food from the app if you don't know how to cook, these are real, nice meals not just fast food (they have that too lol).

Ehhh. Investor that bought my polish apartment wanted to renovate and rent it out but once he talked with (extremely rude and mafia-like) housing association staff he decided to sell it at a higher price, he didn't renovate at all, just flipped. This housing association is so scammy they'll eat up any profits that you potentially could have. Let's not forget about renters with children that could decide to squat one day and cause you problems. It's not as easy as people make it out to be. *sighs* I mean, these are huge transactions, but you can loose a lot too with bad investment of this type.

The first amazing thing, I saw on the articles and news portal websites that India Has 0% Chance of resecion .

Tax thing is if you earn a lot u have to Pay like 20% of your encome .

Not in Hand but like everyday things and expenses .

Which you don't really mind at all .

You can hire a made in cheap like mine maid is 30$/month(2500 Rupees).

And obviously you know about Indian food they are literally Heaven .

Weeks ago, I had a conversation with my friends about the same topic. I agree with the statement that prices have drastically increased. However, if you look at the inflation chart over the years, you will notice that prices are unlikely to return to previous levels. We have to come to terms with this reality. I am from the Baltic States, where we began using euros in 2015. A new 40 square meter flat in the capital starts from 130,000 euros, with an additional ~12,000 euros for parking and ~5,000 euros for a warehouse. In total, it's about 150,000 euros. You might feel disappointed because it would cost you around 1,000 euros per month if you took out a bank loan. However, looking into the future, after 10 years, the same flat will likely be worth at least 200,000 euros. The last best opportunity to purchase your own real estate was yesterday :)

I just want to say that we are living better especially younger people born between 1990 and 2000. With social media and the internet, we have more opportunities to work from anywhere. Many of my friends have side jobs, like buying and selling things online. Sometimes, I feel surprised when people complain about their jobs or small issues, like spending extra time on their computer because their managers ask them to do an extra task.

Our needs have grown. Twenty years ago, my parents had much bigger problems, like making sure we had enough to eat. Compared to back then, I think we're living pretty comfortably now. Seeing influencers with nice cars and fancy lives might make us feel like our lives are poor, but really, things are pretty good for us.
 
I think those 40m2 are going to double in a few years. This inflation situation doesn't stop.

Shortage of food and glucose is the worst that can happen to me in my day to day life. In my routine.

I rather have no house than no glucose and meat.

Okay, right now, it's not a party, you've got to watch your budget, and since we earn our living from the Internet, we know that our income is variable. You want job security and a salary that falls due every month on a fixed date? Become a civil servant.
And just remember that just a few miles away, especially you @Lukmat , there are people our age who are dying.
Most of you here (I'm speaking for Westerners), you have a roof over your head, you have food every day, you have enough to heat your home, you can pay for a medical consultation and medicines (maybe not Americans form here).
I don't mind talking about inflation and its causes, but let's be a little decent.
 
For me, food prices still manageable, but the mortgage rate is what keeping me up at night.

Can't complain though, if you are renting in Sydney, you are in even deeper shit.
