A billion dollar T20 cricket league was disturbed on April 10th due to the public protest over a river water sharing.

Its been a stressful issue since 1970s between two Indian states and it took a big avatar last week and made this biggest private cricket league disturbed. It resulted in moving the games to another north Indian city.

I see this as another warning that World is going to face water insufficiency issues anytime soon. Natural has alerted us already with the DAY ZERO in Cape Town, South Africa... Time for big nations' governments to take some serious actions towards it.

It’s really worrying how some countries are in big trouble due to lack of water while others countries are in going to drown by 2050 due to too much water, Bangladesh for example. Just saying we won’t be facing water insufficiency for a long time, the oceans are yet waiting to be used.

Most of the countries are facing water problem. so no one can be escaped from this issue. we have to find a new method for saving a water.

I remember hearing about how water availability is going to cause huge issues like 30 years ago. Back then, there were ~2.5 billion (with a B) less people alive. Guess what happened... nothing.

Yes, you are right... I wasn't even born then.. But whats happening now doesn't seem an usual warning you/I used to hear in last 2 decades... What has come to Cape Town today will affect other major cities one day If we seriously don't take some serious actions.. :( :(

Cricket?

We're talking cricket?

Chirping crickets?

Edible crickets?

Crickets on rye toast with a slice of tomato?

Deep fried crickets?

Grilled crickets with asparagus?

Cricket soufflés?

Shoe fly pie, apple pandowdy and crickets?

Natural has alerted us already

Nature altered us? Not really.

It's us, human who is ultimately responsible for it. Who is releasing loads of smoke from industry? Who is cutting down trees? Who is creating DAM and disrupting natural flow of water?

Nature is never self destructive unless we human disrupt it

Nature didnt alter anything.. I was telling it has alerted us..

Birth control is highly needed like 1 child per family. People in poorer countries can't get themselves food but give birth like 5-10 children :eek:

Nature didnt alter anything.. I was telling it has alerted us..

Oh my bad, read it wrong!! Yeah nature alerted us for sure but we are too greed and selfish to destroy mother earth :(:weep:

Yes.. Enough, the consequences for being greedy is worse than expected.. Its better if we can reset this world before nature offers some severe disasters to reset...

I was thinking that a middle East madman causing those oil wells burning in Kuwait during the Desert Storm caused the drastic changes in global climate in a major way. Al nino etc behaving disastrously only began after desert storm.

The hole in ozone became so great only because of the intense heat and black smokes of those burning oil wells. There were reports of black sticky rains in places like Kashmir just after desert storm. The greezy burnt oil particles were the cause of major global disasters we are witnessing now.

Even the penguins of polar region were seen dying because they were completely smeared in oily substances after desert storm happened...

May be the day zero phemenon has been hastened because of the same reason. May be it's only I am thinking like that... Nobody should've burnt those oil wells....Imho. I can only hope for a miracle to happen so the earth becomes very healthy again.

You wanna try living in the UK, can't get away from the stuff! Rain everywhere!

Not in India, people still facing issues related to lack of water. We should save water for our future. Otherwise, that day is not far when the amount of water will be very less on the earth and people will die due to thrust of water.

Waters not going anywhere, bill gates just purified shit water and drank it a few years ago, talk IPL not water...some crazy matches already:D
