Indexing videos on a shopify shop

hello guys , im trying to index videos on product pages on shopify ( the videos in the carousel images of a product ) im not sure how to do it or even if that's possible

yeah shopify by default doesn’t index videos well in the carousel especially if they’re dynamic elements you should try embedding them as a proper video tag with schema markup or maybe an optimized youtube/vimeo iframe also check in search console to see if google even detects them?

You have to make standalone video pages (watch pages) with a proper schema to get them indexed as "videos"

Shopify’s default setup doesn’t always index videos in product carousels, but you might be able to improve visibility by adding structured data (Schema markup) for videos. Have you tried embedding them directly in the product description or using a custom theme modification?
