Indexing backlinks with Google URL submitter?

Hopefully this is not too stupid of a question, but I was wondering about the following:

When I had a new website, it took quite a while for the pages to get indexed. I then used Google URL submitter, and they were all indexed within 24 hours.

After that, I made some backlinks, and they weren't being indexed in like a week. I then took one of those backlink URL's (like the inner page of a directory website that had my link on it) and submitted it in Google URL Submitter. That backlink was then indexed the next day.

Is this a good way to get manual made backlinks to index? Or am I doing something really stupid?

I understand this is an impossible task for mass tiered links, but its doable for higher quality manual links.

What am I missing here?

Sure you can do that and it is effective but like you say it does not work for any volume or mass. In fact if you add urls too fast the Captcha gets harder as it changes... I've played with that a handful of times and that happens every time after about 20 - 25 urls if done in a short period if time.

this is the best way for me to see if the links i build really work. If I build out 5 pbn links or so and crawl them with the tool then get the $ site crawled usually the results are instant if not 24 hrs for the $ site to jump. But usually is pretty instant. This is also good for sites that tank b/c of KW diversity issues. But get ready to have a lot of Google accounts is you want to do a lot of links b/c the max you will be able to do is about 35 and once you hit the filter then that account is hit for about 48-72 hrs. I have about 50 accounts i rotate through. AND YES, it sucks doing it manually but the reward is too great not for me to do it.

I will be submitting the manual links through this service from now on then, since it seems to work very well.
I will be trying the multiple account thing when I run into my limit!
