Index links or not ?

I'm making a website with my friend, it has same purpose like digg, but with many new and exciting features. so, all articles are submited from other websites (we do provide links and redirect) but my question is, should we index those links? I ask that because i'm thinking what if google finds that "spammy" and punishes website ? all articles would have title, 30-40 words,image of text and external link.

What do you think, should we index all or avoid ?

Make the external link as nofollow and index the pages to increase the views from google.

You should make nofollow link. If you make ******** link then Google do to read your web site properly.

Agree with the previous commentators. The most rational solution in this case is to assign a nofollow tag to all links pointing to articles that will be submitted.

Thus you will minimize your risks, and Google won't treat your site as a directory of spammy links.

Make all links redirect out. Like /linkout.php?linkcode=abcd

Then disallow /linkout.php on robots.txt
