Basically, what're some good ways to increase conversion?

I took some classes on SEO and that was a good start, I think I should add a product video or (as many as needed).

Any other ideas?

No I don't have a lot of spammy content and stuff like that.

I would follow these main points:

Phone number right hand corner
Contact Form above the fold or buy now or product itself above the fold.
Insure your call to actions are different colour to the rest of the site. Try bright colours for the call of the action.

Always remember people who come to the site are not the smartest people so you want to make it really clear what you want them to do.

OP:

SEO has nothing to do with conversion ratios directly mate. SEO can get you more traffic, but how will that help if you convert at a .001% rate?

And there is nothing blackhat about increasing your website's conversion rate. Simple things like the color of a button or the placement of the price can have big effects. I'd honestly recommend looking for a web design resource for that stuff though. Then when you're ready to start RANKING that site, come back here.

Although you have shared very little info but generally speaking conversion will depend on the kind of market you are targeting vs your product and pricing. For SEO you will need to target the right people by focusing on the right kind of keywords and thus getting "relevant" traffic to your site. once you start getting the right kind of traffic then you should focus on the design features of your LP to increase conversions.
Cheers!

Thanks for the replies guys!!!

I'll take a long look at design to see if I can make some changes.

It it is ranking for keywords on the front page so my that SEO class probably helped some.

Now on to understanding how to get a higher domain authority and page rank.

If you are talking about conversion rates optimisation, it?s not related to SEO. You should improve your site using A/B/N testing. Try Google Content Experiments (if you make design pieces by yourself) or some program solution with included visual editor (I like Maxymizely)

as soon as you get the quality traffic to the website make sure it is easy to navigate through and visitors have no trouble finding what your are trying to sell. Make sure nothing distracts their attention from the true cause you want them at your website. That's key to improving the conversion rate.
