I am thinking about how posts in forums can stick better. I am not so happy with my actual XRumer success rate which is the percentage of posts which REMAIN after some time. This number is really slow. So how this could be improved? I think acting as human as possible might be a key. In this thread, I want to collect ideas on how to make things better, NOT bounded to any tool but a result of open-minded thinking. So, to emphasize that, I am convinced that there are fascinating techniques possible, which are possibly not (yet) covered by current tools. I will start with my suggestions, including some well known techniques: Q-A-System * User 1 (U1) posts a question, User 2 (U2) answers it [with link] * Questions and answers from Yahoo answers, excellent quality and "best selected answers" always good Copying whole forum threads from different forums * Difficult if many people are involved in a thread (U1, U2, U3, ...) * Extracting only the posts of the main posters (U1, U2) of the thread as alternative * Changing names referring to other posters to the main posters (U3->U2, etc.) Generic comments * And signature links, e.g. "Nice post, man ----- [link]" * Only this is not sufficient. Mods will frequently delete that General technique: increase post count * e.g. XR anti spam system * min 10 posts often required ==> high probability of unrelated post ==> MOD delete/ban How would you make things better?
