Hi, I have recently make a website..

I wonder if anybody knows to increase traffic to the website.

I have already submitted it to google, yahoo and bing..

what seo strategy, technique and method to use to increase its traffic?

What to do so that I can it also.

you can go with seo tech. i mean to say submissions is must,,like article, blog, search engine submission, page creation,SB..n all that

Links:
Forums
Facebook
Youtube (comment related videos)
Social Bookmarks

keep on reading the forums here, you'll get some great ideas. First off create content that people want, and then make sure it's optimized on and off site, that should help.

the faster way to increase web traffic is to use seo tools..

but doing it manually like they call it white hat will be also good but requires a lot of time

Use high PR niche forums which have traffic and post your comments and threads for introduce your website & do articles and High PR web 2.0 submissions and use relevant images for web 2.0 for make it more graceful.
You will definitely get traffic.

1. Add a blog to your website. If your website is static (e.g., a corporate site or an online store), consider adding a blog to it, where you'll write new content regularly. This will give your visitors a reason to come back, and your search engine traffic will increase too.
2. Network, network, network. Ever heard the saying "it is not about what you know, but who you know"? It applies to promoting a website as well. If you become a friend with a blogger or website owner, he will be much more likely to link to your website and send traffic your way. A good way to achieve this is to link to other bloggers first and to establish a relationship via email.

Very true indeed

I posted this previously here, but it hopefully will be helpful to you here:

"While this might be very basic, you need to start some place and really start to define what strategies you want to implement short and long term to build your online business.

When you are looking to drive traffic to your site, you can basically do it 3 ways:

Organic - This is where you focus on ranking keywords in the search engines and the more you have at #1, the more $ you can make. This should be considered your mid and long term approach as it takes time to build a site. (unless you have purchased one with rank, authority, and age.) Additionally to this might include Social traffic.

Paid - This is where you might use Google Adwords, Media.net or other ad services to drive traffic to your website through ads. (as noted Adsense and Adwords don't mix, so don't mess with that.). You can also pay for ad banners on other networks or individual sites.

Affiliates - This is a very broad view of affiliates as this can be where you pay for leads to come to your site, work with companies to drive referral traffic, or work with broader organizations like chambers, associations or affinity groups to promote your product(s)

Monetization of your website should correspond to the expected sales you can make at the site. I.e. most people (broad generalization I know) who target adsense will usually drive traffic through Organic means because you are relying on others to sell their products. While Paid traffic for adwords might work for a site carrying amazon or other product options where your commission can be significant.

You have to determine what will work best for you, but in each of these driving traffic areas, you have to research to form the best strategies for your site."

Does this help?

There are too many methods to write down in this one thread..I say you explore..read up on how to work with SEO..and when you have questions..ask the wonderful community here :D A lot of it comes down to what your budget is and how much time you have!

All the advise so far is good... but yet similar.

Getting your link out there is what it is all about.

to get traffic, you have to let that traffic know where to go. Start with a couple keywords that you can sort through easily on a search page. Then, do some writing and posting on various sites, including your link ( in various ways ). Then, track your SERP rankings.... see how your page moves as you get more links to it.

Your monetization will depict how you promote too...

Tons of people know how to get traffic... Most of it has already been talked about... so do some reading through the posts, pick out the tips you can use now and apply them.

Or, buy the traffic if you have the cash flow.

What i did is start out with a small niche site. Do everything with $0. Only time. I got my page ranked #1 for a few keywords using only free tools, sites and links on my own. To do that will help you 10 fold on how it basically works.
