Increase search volume for a particular keyword?

That has to be artificial or blackhat method. There's no other way around it, but that will cost you some money as you have to keep up the volume. You may want to use microwokers in this case

Build out more content around that topic and interlink them strategically together + Backlinks

Anyone know how to increase search volume for a particular keyword?

(or if there's any existing guide on here on how to do so?)

Brainstorming some ideas.

Send me a PM if so.
Hey There, have you got answer for this?

You can hire ppl at microworkers to search your KW in G.

You can use bot+proxies to do some automatic searches in Google and you will see the search volume raise in Google Ads (and thus in other keyword tools) --> With a good bot, it works

You can also make some CPM pop under ads on advertising platform (with low consideration regarding quality...) that open the search url in Google with your keyword inside. The url should be something like : https://www.google.com/search?q=your+keyword --> I never tried myself but I see some who did this. You can test with very low CPM and get maybe 50K searches for less than $10.
What traffic service do you know at 50k 10$ CPM? I will try this method.

A friend of mine who works in SEO shared some interesting secrets on how to artificially boost website traffic. He runs a netlinking business and uses some lesser-known methods to inflate the audience on his sites. I think some of you might help me understand more, as he wouldn’t reveal all his secrets.

Here’s what he explained: platforms like Semrush estimate traffic based on the volume of keywords a site ranks for, so he manages to "fake" these numbers to strategically boost his audience. One of his techniques involves manipulating the search volume of specific target keywords.

For instance, he runs Facebook Ads campaigns and redirects the clicks to specific Google search queries, which creates artificial search volume. This makes those keywords appear more popular, which increases their value and improves his site’s positioning. As a result, he boosts his Semrush ranking and attracts more clients through netlinking platforms.

I think it's a pretty clever approach, but I still don’t fully understand it :
1. Could someone here explain in detail how this technique works?
2. Does it have a specific name?
3. And are there other ways to increase traffic like this without using Facebook Ads and bots ?

Hi!

1. Imagine your website rank 1st on a keyword that have 50k monthly search volume. SEMRush will estimate your website has something like 30k visitors per month, based on a 60% CTR in Google SERP (figures are given for the example. Not the real figures used of course).
So, let’s imagine you have a small website that ranks on very small keywords and thus have low visitors estimation per month —> your website will be less attractive for people looking for « popular » website to by links from. Less attractive means less sales at a lower price. The solution? Boost the search volume of these small keywords. If you manage to do that, in SemRush you website will look like much more attractive. More attractive = more sales at a higher price. Off course, those who will take time to dig in the details of the keywords and search volume will see the ticks. Most of buyers don’t. BUT more and more people are aware of this trick.

2. No idea. I would simply call it search volume manipulation.

3. Based on what I now, there are 2 main possibilities :
- make people type your keywords in Google. It can be either real persons (friends, microworkers,…) or bots (more difficult but even low quality trafic bot can make changes on search volume in Google Ads Keywords Planner tools)
- make people to open in their browser the search URL of Google with your keywords in it (see my precedent messages). For this possibility, you have many ways : pop under ads, Facebook ads, and many other type of ads. You can even imagine a QR code printed on a flyer with written « scan to gain $1000 » and redirecting to you url. In the end, if a real person open the url, it will count for Google!

any news on your test ? I m very interested !
Search for pop under ads in Google. You are not looking for quality but for quantity. So set all indicators as low as possible to get the cheapest trafic possible. And choose a platform which don’t care the url you are promoting.

Did you find the answer bro?

Can be done through bots, had a bot a while ago that did something like that, but to be honest wasn't worth the time or effort.

The option is to pay to some micro working sites like $0.1 for each search and click on my website link and stay for 10 seconds

this is literally the method

get a link like this from your google search https://www.google.com/search?q=kni...8MgYIBhBFGDwyBggHEEUYPNIBCDEyMTNqMGo0qAIAsAIB and buy cheap pop ads or banner ads or any cheap traffic source to the link

should work

publish useful content around it, pronote it on social nedia, and get people actually searching for it through brand awareness.

raising a keyword’s search volume isn’t quick it needs steady visibility, create relevant content, share it widely, spark interest around the topic, and keep the keyword active online, some tools once showed inflated volumes, but real growth comes from consistent exposure and genuine user engagement.
