You should contact cyril takayama and david copperfield to help you, sure you will rank within few hours if not few seconds! :D

yes, place link on homepage of facebook. i have done this in the past and my pr shot up to 14.

 I bet you charge $10,000 for a d0follow link. :D

To the OP, make sure your pages validate wc3, make quality links, and wait for an update.

Last week I received a sales letter (video) about first page in 60 seconds with any website (actualy he did it in 42 sec, and was laughing the rest) ...
But actually I believe the first page on google in some 6-7 minutes can be done....with google news site..

Yup, usually around 6 minutes, or atleast it was when i had my GNews site. Though, you usually don't get #1 rank, usually it's further down the page and you'll only stay there until another two or three articles targeting the same keyword has been posted to Google news.

What you guys are forgetting is Google updates PR every day, they just don't publish the results. So it is possible to raise you PR in one day, by getting some high quality backlinks.

It just wont show up for a couple of months , but you will gain instantly the value of the backlinks/

Pagerank that you can see in the google toolbar is merely a snapshot in time. They take that snapshot usually around 4 times a year, though at times it was nearly a year, and other times it was almost every month.

Whatever you do that may cause pagerank to increase will only be visible when Google does that snapshot.

Internally, Google updates pagerank far more often. You could see a PR0 and in reality it could be PR6.

For instance, if you post an article through a massive high PR article network, and your article is on every homepage, and Google takes their snapshot, your site could show as a PR5. Then, next week ... all your homepage posts get moved to the 2nd page and your PR drops down to PR2 (because all those high PR homepage backlinks suddenly became low PR 2nd page backlinks), but you wouldn't see that you dropped down to PR2 until the next visible Google PR update.
