If your computer getting quite dated you would best to go back to Windows 7.

You can do things to upgrade a computer speed or upgrading speed depending on your programming skills but I think here you would better of just buying a better computer with a minimum of 4GB RAM.

You can be depending on where you live get one quite easy cheap from places like Gumtree,Craiglists,Ebay .

Not sure what you do but if you are say a student you can get a free computer quite easy as well from that way.

That covers a cheap computer I bought last year with the issues stated and good points. https://www.loom.com/share/ac4ee87db2e04166b5b4680a48f8c14b

Same here, linux mint/ubuntu is much faster than windows, especially win10
also the game changer for me was an SSD drive, it speeds it up dramatically

Your computer needs to upgrade RAM. Because RAM plays a big role in computer speed. You can set the amount of RAM to the maximum from the Msconfig.exe settings.

upgrade your RAM man.... 2 GB is nothing !

My comuputer is using 8GB ram, but sometimes it's slow. I think you should upgrade your Ram

Clean your temporary files, it will give a little boost to your speed

Upgrade your RAM and get an SSD if you are not using it already and if your device has a port for NVMe SSD, then without any doubt, go for NVMe SSD over SATA. It performs 4x better in comparison to SATA Drive

Save money and think about buying a new one. You will have more performance in your work and you will be more productive. You cannot work with a slow computer.

You can check if the PC uses two RAM if yes addup another RAM on the board to speedup
Just don't add a WOM! (Write Only Memory) - similar to a rock or potato. Data goes in, but never comes out again! LOL

Those specs are no bueno out. of. this. world. BAD with a capital BAD!!!

You need to lighten that load know what I mean? Set that shit to performance mode and run ccleaner and defrag and optimize display for performance and use Windirstat to see whats taking up those resouces bro!!!!!
