Inactive subscribers. When should I delete them?

Hmmm... if that's a lot, I will first run a re-engagement campaign, then if still inactive I delete them. Why?
1. To increase email deliverability - poor engagement rates will give a signal to email providers causing your future emails to just land in the junk folder
2. Decrease cost - the bigger the list, the bigger the cost. Save by removing inactives, subscribers who haven't performed a single action

i would stop emailing them put save their emails just in case

why you need to delete them? let they stay on your channel and looking for new active subscribersHello,
If some subscribers don't open any of my follow-up emails in 1 month after opt-in, is it right to just delete them? Or should I wait any longer? Please share your thoughts

Well the main reason is cost. I'm getting 300-500 subs each day, so imagine how much I'd need to pay each month for inactive ones.

Health and fitness. I have a method that generates me that much subs basically for free. However, I don't get the conversion rate as good as I want. Right now I'm sending my subs a lot of useful information, but my Call-to-Action sucks.
Could anybody share their follow up scheme?
For eg:
1) freebie
2) value
3) value + softsell
4) value + softsell
5) value + hardsell
6) value + reminder
7) value
Etc.
I guess my conversion rate isn't as good because my follow up emails are quite long. Should I make them shorter and give subs a link to an in-depth article on my blog that would have a clear CTA?

What is your conversion rate? I think what "good" is depends on how targeted your leads are and the price. Do you know how targeted your leads are? And are they cold, warm or hot traffic? That will make a difference too.
I know Russell bronson says to make it personal. The emails should include you talking about your story, your struggles in a way that leads can relate to.

How long is long? If your strategy is to tell a story, that justifies the length of your email swipes.

My current conversion rate is 1,79%. I consider my traffic is hot because 75% of sales are coming right after opt-in (from freebie or instant follow-up email).
The rest 25% are sales from follow-ups and swipes, but here converion rate is only 0,44%.
My emails are really long. Like a blog type article with 1-2k words. I'm trying to engage through those emails by writing from a first person, telling my subs a bit of my story and giving them a lot of value. (People are thanking and blessing me when they reply lol).
I personally think I need to improve my CTR because my subs are getting lost when they're reading my emails. They're simply to long.
I've taken an action already and I'm working on writing short engaging follow-ups that would point my subs to a micro-niche blog, where they could read an in-depth article.

For 2 to 4 weeks, try to send shortened versions of your usual emails. Try not to go beyond 1,000 words.
If you see a better CTR, try sending 500-word emails for 2 to 4 weeks and see the difference.
Split test.

I'm using Aweber, I believe there is no split test option available. Should I create a new list and just compare the results?

I think he just means to compare by date.
So you would just check last months CTR which was getting the long emails, than this month change to short emails and see if the CTR is improved.
And can I ask about your free way to get leads you mentioned.....is there someplace I could go to learn or read about that? 300-500 for free is rather amazing, and I'm struggling to get leads (clearly I'm a newbie). Thanks!
