In your opinion, is automating Facebook ads or using manual methods the best option for advertisers?

Use both, let automation handle the optimization, but I'd still keep manual control over testing and creatives.

It almost feels like the biggest difference is the creative because even the smartest automation cannot do much if the ads themselves are not getting people to stop scrolling

i think it really depends on the phase of your campaign. automation is great at the beginning 'cause it help you understand audiences, creatives, and budgets and can answer the question is that work or not. the best way to boost your account is combine both strategy (u control the account and use the automation in the right phase) rather than relying entirely on automation.

I think a mix of both works best. Automation saves time once you have enough data but manual control is still useful when testing new creatives or audience. I usually start manually then let automation handle optimization after the campaign stabilizes.

I still like checking things myself automation is useful but I wouldnt rely on it for every decision.

It depends on the campaign size for smaller tests I prefer more control, but bigger campaigns can benefit from smarter systems.

Automating Facebook ads is currently quite effective, as Meta's new AI system delivers highly accurate results; however, you should employ a combination of both methods to identify your target audience and allocate your budget with the greatest precision.

Pick manual until the offer and creative are proven. Automation is better after you have conversion data, otherwise it just scales bad inputs faster.

In my opinion, we need to combine both approaches. In this day and age, failing to utilize automation would be a waste of technology; however, we must still retain control to prevent things from going off track.

I think a manual approach is best. That is the method I use for setting up ads as well; it allows for the configuration of various ad features that aren't available with the automated method.

I think the good method is combining them. using manual at the first stage to test and control, then you can transfer to automation.

automation for scaling, manual for testing, doing only one or the other is leaving money on the table

Let ai automate targeting and bidding, but keep manual control over creative testing and budget caps to stop the algorithm from burning your cash.

You need to run small tests yourself. Automation just scales whatever you throw at it. If you throw garbage in, you get garbage out. So manual is always better for testing. The best options is manual testing, automated scaling, and always keep an eye on the numbers. that's what works for me.

I use manual control in order to test which ads are profitable, and after that , when I see what works, I let them scale automatically.

You should use both. While automation is very useful, sometimes we need to use manual methods.
