Improve my craigslist money making idea

Well, this is my first post and after reading many many posts i have been inspired to start doing some BH methods. I got into accepted into a cpa network using the useful tips i found here and have created a wordpress blog. I am using this wordpress blog with cpa-redirector to fake the referrals. What i am attempting to do is go on craigslist and post ads for used cars at a cheap price and pretend im a dealer. When i get responses i email them back something like this. i am trying to get them to sign up for an insurance cpa offer that pays 3.00 for a one page form submit. I reply to them :

Hi (name)
Thank you for the interest in the car. The car is up still up for sale and you are more than welcome to come take a test drive. You may set up a visit by submitting your basic contact info to our car quote form. This allows us to give you our free quote along with your information to be on file when your salesmen contacts you shortly after with openings. Please visit, http://www.xx xxx xx?mn=34792 your member number (mn) is 34792. Please have that number with you after filling out our form as your salesman will contact you requesting that number shortly after so he or she can pull up your information. Thank you (Name) and we look forward to doing business with you.

I describe to them wat the mn means since im using the magic number to redirect them to the offer. I have received at least 50 responses with two ads up in Long Island, Ny and Delaware. After emailing them i have received 24 clicks but no conversions. Wondering if anyone had any helpful suggestions on how to improve this method or my pitch. Thanks.

You'll need to adjust your pitch so it is more friendly and also you should give them a timeline to cause a sense of urgency.

Intersting. I was thinking maybe signing with a female name, like pauline or some stuff. And then to go off your idea it wouldnt be bad to say like. There are currently only so and so opening to test drive the car by wednesday. or some sort of thing like that. i figured i have the website up and directing my affiliate link so i just need to focus on actually converting these offers.

The female name is a good idea... maybe offer a 50.00 gas card for test driving the car in your email or some other enticing incentive.

Love the gas idea, will test it out and report back.
