Hi guys

I have a website, which is non English. I recently performed keywords research from scratch & found there are new keywords which haven't been covered before. So I covered them, updated the UI/UX for a clean look & submitted in GSC. I saw dip in impressions after 2 days, & then on 25th September 2026 Google launched its spam update which will take time to complete. I need suggestions from fellows

1. Shall I update content for remaining pages & update them on live website & submit again in GSC/Bing
2. Shall I wait for the update to end, & then analyze what happened in the SERP

Need you kind suggestions for this matter!

You shouldn’t stop updating the remaining pages just because the update is running. If the content improvements are genuinely useful, continue with them, but avoid making too many changes at once so you can understand what caused the changes in traffic.

i would not be alarmed about 2 days drop. keep on updatting the other pages as long as the updates are benefficial, but stop re submitting everything. just wait for the re crawling by google nd then compare ur rankings nd impressions.

I would wait and monitor the update first, then refresh pages based on the actual ranking data rather than making changes too quickly.

Try to finish any necessary content updates, but don’t keep resubmitting everything just because impressions dipped.

Once the update is complete, compare the affected pages and queries before deciding what needs another change.

were u working on a number of modifications at the very time that there was an update to spam? that would be a mistake just waits for everything to calm down first.

I'd wait for the update to finish before changing more pages. 2 days is way too early to judge the refresh and more changes now will make it harder to know what actually caused the drop

perhap you should wait a bit before changing page becuz of the possibility that your update nd modifications might clash nd it would not be possible for you to identify what caused the fall.

Yes, two days doesn’t amount to anything. Let the update sit for some time. Otherwise, you will change five diffrent things and still have no idea what affected the numbers.

Exactly especially during an update it's better to have one clean before and after comparison than keep moving things around.

yeah I would wait a bit before changing all the other pages. 2 days is pretty short and the spam update can mess with impressions too. keep the changes live for now and check GSC again after some more time then see which pages actually dropped.

i would pause the bigger changes for now and watch how the pages move during the spam update once things settle you can compare impressions clicks and rankings before deciding which pages actually need another refresh

I would update the remaining pages gradually, but avoid making too many changes at once so you can see what actually affects performance.

It will be wise to wait until then for now. two day is not enough time for you to be able to establish any change after the update. this will make things even more complicated for you.

Wait for the spam update to finish before making more big changes, dips right after a refresh are common while Google reevaluates..

Once the update settles, check SERPs and GSC data, then update the remaining pages in batches and monitor.

I’d keep updating the remaining pages, but track changes carefully. The September spam update is still rolling out, so I wouldn’t judge the performance from these few days alone.

split GSC by page before deciding anything. a dip two days after a refresh is almost always the refreshed pages being re evaluated, you see those specific pages lose impressions while the untouched ones hold. if the untouched ones dropped too its the update and your refresh is a coincidence. for the refreshed pages the thing i do that shortens it is getting them recrawled, a few support links at each updated page does that in days. then keep updating the rest but in batches so you can see which batch moved

Option 2 is the right move here. Whenever google is rolling out an update, SERPs experience high volatility. If you update remaining pages now, you won't know whether ranking fluctuations are from your UI/keyword changes or the spam update it self. Let the rollout complete, re-fetch search console data after a week, and then decide on the next batch of content updates.

I wouldn’t make too many changes while the spam update is still rolling out. If the remaining pages genuinely need better content, update them normally, but don’t start rewriting everything just because impressions dropped for 2 days.
