IMDB - a NEW Source of BACKLINKS and TRAFFIC

I just found this out today when I was on IMDB and it shocked me, you can EDIT the page on most
of the MOVIES listings, I'm guessing, just like you can on Wikipedia. IMDB must be at least a Page Rank 7.

It got my mind racing on how to capitalise on this discovery.

Then, I thought, dead simple have a website, with trailers and reviews of movies with links from
IMDB back to the website. Monetize the website with anything from Adsense to Clickbank or
even Amazon DVD's and Bluray Discs.

It really doesn't matter, provide decent content to IMDB, to allow you to EDIT the page and
whammo you have another income stream. Go for the most popular new movies releases
before anyone else does, and you are onto a winner everytime!

It cant be as simple as that, I bet it is extremely strict moderation.

However if you do get a link on there the homepage of IMDB is pr8 so alot of inner pages will be pr 3 and up.

Where the heck did my post go!? I left a post on this page before Michael did. Gave you thanks and rep with a bit of sadness for not thinking this up myself. One of my favorite sites and it's an idea only as good as it's secrecy to an extent.

So, where is the edit button? I can't find it anywhere. :/

You can give your links without anchor text.. but don't abuse it.. I have been using imdb and askville for a while now for creating backlinks.. make sure you discuss relevant things and then have link in the signature
