IM Vs. School?

Social interaction? Screw that. Just keep yourself in good health and worry about having fun after you've made millions, not before.

Find a way to fit both. I basically dropped out of high school because you'd have a hard time finding a business school which will turn down someone who has built a multi-million dollar business (getting there - just need a few more replicas of the $100,000/year client I got yesterday) and has near-perfect SAT scores. However, unless you're that fortunate, high school is important. Not for stupid frickin' social interaction, but so you can turn the six-digits you in IM into millions out in the offline business world.

Think big.

edit: And remember, credentials will affect how you're viewed by other people. For example, I think you're probably some knucklehead, simply based on your username.

Both are beneficial, but I wouldn't take advantage of one , by leaving behind the other one.

You can have both, some day school ends and you can go full time with IM.

If you could have A+ on school so you will get A+ on IM So go get your grade

depends on your future plans,

if you wish to become a doctor, lawyer or engineer then you better stay at school
if you only want business, do what you think is right.

Don't drop out of High School but collage is a bunch of BS. I know more about IM than the next guy that has a masters in IM!! Does that tell you something?

Im in college now and half the time I spend in easier classes I wind up doing something IM related during the class

This is not a school or IM world. You have to elevate your viewpoint. Everything you are successful at in IM came from your own passion to 'Get' it. It is obvious that your real challenge is Dad. He is the one that could really use your help. Use school as a way to build your troops. Most likely a lot of the Staff, teachers, and students wish they had what you have. Look for ways to share and help others grow. This life is your movie. When you learn approach and scaling and the ability to observe the entire fullness of your gifts you will become more appreciative that others don't think the way you do and there is a reason for that. Extend your boundaries and viewpoint on things so that you'll never have this same issue in life again. Have you had a chance to view the trailer for the new movie starring Ashton as Steve Jobs? Do you have vision? Rise above your station you are most likely ahead of your time. It is not about school or no school. Its about awareness and growth. You are the Boss. Be the Boss at School. Share you input with your Dad he as well as you are only here for a certain amount of time.

The real question is this...How much are you making in IM? If it is significant and your expanding then go for it.
However try to find a balance.

As far as social interaction thing goes......

Focus on school for now , education is important in this economy , no matter how high you are your education matters

Everything you study up to high school is just preparation for yourself to when you go out and meet the real life. College is where it is at to decide your career.

You don't want to look like a dumbass when you get asked a question that falls into general knowledge, do you?

Until now, your studies come first, fix them grades, finish high school, then you can focus on IM (if that's what you want to do the rest of your life).

My opinion is that you should stick with school. IM can be a part time job. Most people that are making a shit ton of money are doing it part time. It doesn't take long to outsource jobs. With all the time you have left over you could also be studying something else. I don't know if that's just me though. I have to know everything about everything. I have a strong desire to learn. I never went to college or university, but I sure as hell am planning to now. I'm 24 and sooo wished I'd gone. I'd like to get a full time job and do IM too. Double my regular income. And THAT is how you truly bank!

Now you don't have to have a career where you go to "work for the man," but you can do something that helps people. If you stick with IM while you are going through school you have a good chance to do ANY job you want, because you'll always have IM money to fall back on.

The sad problem with IM is that the internet changes all the time. I was banking with a niche site only 3 weeks ago. Now I haven't sold anything since. I'm not saying that other professions don't change at all, but none that I know of changes more than that of an IM'er.

From the bottom of my heart I'm telling you to never take anyone else's advice. So my advice to you would be to stay in school. And with IM... Work smart. Not hard.

16+ students need your type of mind frame, as having a back up plan should always be important, which most would know if they truly do IM.

School isn't for everybody, but you should at least attend a college to see if you like it.

I loved college and now I'm still doing IM.

I actually talk to more friends from college than I do highschool. Hell, a few of us from college actually work together in the IM field.
