Finally I have joined a community that no matter how many times I battle the multi-headed monster called internet search, I always find the help I need right here. I leave feeling confident that I will get my stuff working right or at least have gained a new direction in where to look. I'm an avid reader, I love challenges, and I have no problem searching around to find my answers before I seek help from others and in fact have never asked one single question. (I usually find what I'm looking for after 13 hours of scouring the web...like I'm doing right now.) I hope I can contribute by helping others or giving guidance.
My style about this stuff has always been like the person who can play a violin, but won't go for 1st chair without becoming extremely proficient and helping everyone else get there to so we can challenge each other on the same level. Why? Good question, maybe I'll discover something about myself here. (Please don't be harsh...I'm sensitive :) )

Thank you everyone for having created a place both terrifyingly intellectual and wonderfully challenging and helpful. I hope I can learn the ways of this "world" and become someone who can contribute solutions to more technically difficult problems or wishes.

Making her first appearance in a forum with gratitude,
Miss Sintric

Welcome to BHW! Don't hesistate to ask questions because trying to figure out everything by yourself all the time may lead you to dead end. Questioning is a natural process of learning :)

Welcome.. Girls are always welcome here! Open arms...

Welcome, and no need to be nervous, most of the people here are good guys and girls

Welcome to BHW!

I hope you enjoy your time with IM as much as I have and do right now :)

Well let's see, if you re normally nervous, and you re nervous now, then that is normal.

If it is normal for you to be nervous when joining or making your first post, then you are normal.

But if you are normally at ease, or at ease when you make your first post, and you are nervous now, that would be abnormal.

Normally, I think most people are nervous about that first post. I was, so even if you were nervous, you were at least normal as me.

This if course could make you nervous, because I normally consider myself to be a little abnormal even though I am not normally nervous.

All of which is irrelevant, because we do not have a starting point for "normal" in the first place.

Don't mind me, I never use 10 words when 300 will do, normally.

Welcome to the forum, my forte is Local SEO, I am happy to help you along anyway I can.

In all seriousness, don't let being nervous stop you from taking action, the sooner you build a website, the sooner your adventure begins. You can read crap for years and still be too timid to ever do anything.

good luck out there, remember to always do lots of research, no matter what you decide to get into

Well, let me just warn you that reading alone won't get you far in IM. The internet is full of conflicting points of views so your best bet is reading, then testing if it's true (yes it costs time and/or money). Most people don't know shit about IM, yet they still think they can give advice to people. I had to find that out the hard way. Best of luck!

well, new members usually get jumped into the BHW crew so I can see why you would be nervous making your first post.

Nevertheless, welcome. My son.

Congrats. Well enjoy your stay from here. Anyways Welcome to BHW aboard.

Great intro, Miss Sintric. You've got the right attitude. Welcome to BHW.

damn have you guys noticed we have had like 3 new girls today... isn't that funny.

Well there's a reason why BHW is world's 461th most visited site. :)

Welcome aboard! Hope you succeed in whatever you plan to do.
