Look around your house, collect everything you can find that will add up to about $8,000. Take it to a pawn shop, and you should have $700 by the end of the day. You can repeat this as many times as you need. It works awesome.

Find two items around the house worth $1000 retail, and sell them for $400-500 on eBay or Craigs List. $800 minus shipping or fees = $700. Other than that, work out a payment plan with your family for $70/mo for 10-12 months, and work on the more managable project of making that $70 a month.
