Hi everyone!
I’m looking for advice regarding casino SMS retargeting sendouts. I have a player list from Tier 1–2 geos (Poland, France, Netherlands, UK, Germany). Email worked fairly well (~20% registrations) but wasn’t profitable.
Now I want to test SMS, around 30–50 messages per day, only to retargeted players (not cold traffic).
My questions
  • Do I need virtual SIM numbers to send to these countries?
  • Which platforms/providers are currently tolerant to gambling traffic?
  • Is local SIM + cloud gateway a better option for this volume?
  • What deliverability issues should I expect in these geos
    If anyone has recent experience with similar setups, I’d really appreciate your insights.

yes, i know it's a low amount and it might not even need smth super novel but still i wanted to advice before starting and might someone can give a hint on how to start properly.
 
How big is your list? We might be interested in purchasing.

hello, there is a platform where you can use to send bulk SMS and running of ads and the bulk SMS depend on the limits of message you want to send per day. kindly send me a quick PM for me to explain out its works and the types of messaging limits we can use .

Most mainstream SMS providers will shut down gambling traffic fast

For tier 1 GEOs like UK, Germany, Netherlands, you need multiple sender IDs and route switching based on carrier delivery reports

Local SIM setups won't scale past a few dozen messages a day

as far i know local numbers usually get better deliverability. see for sms providers that allow gambling traffic in your target countries many tier 1 providers restrict it. expect some filtering or blocks so test in small batches and monitor delivery carefully.

For some of country like indonesia we use local sim still
 
Yeah, that’s pretty much what we’re seeing too

Most mainstream providers become very sensitive once gambling keywords/start patterns appear consistently, especially on UK/NL/FR traffic. We’re currently testing CRM/reactivation traffic for several in-house casino brands and deliverability differences between GEOs are honestly huge.

UK/FR/NL are still interesting for us, but routing and sender rotation seem way more important now than a few months ago.

Curious what routes/providers people are actually scaling successfully right now on Tier1 gambling traffic.

For local, low-volume use, sure. A single SIM works fine

The problem is when you need to send thousands of messages a day to Tier 1 GEOs like UK or Germany. You can't do that with one local SIM without getting flagged or blocked

Indonesia has different rules and less aggressive filtering. For UK, NL, FR, you need a different approach

Out of curiosity, what kind of daily SMS volumes are you handling right now on Tier1 GEOs?
 
Okay, so for casino SMS retargeting, you'll likely need virtual SIM numbers or a compliant SMS platform to navigate gambling regulations in Tier 1-2 geos. Expect deliverability challenges, and consider local SIMs with a cloud gateway for better results, but definitely do your research on providers and regulations for each specific country

Mid-to-high five figures daily across UK, NL, FR is doable without issues. The volume itself isn't the hard part

What really moves the needle is combining route switching with delivery metrics per carrier. Some routes perform well on O2 but get blocked on EE with the same content

Splitting traffic based on real-time delivery reports is where you go from "works sometimes" to "scales reliably"

That’s actually very interesting

Most people talk only about sender rotation, but almost nobody mentions carrier-level delivery optimization and route switching in real time

We’re still much earlier in the scaling phase compared to those volumes, but we’re already noticing massive differences between carriers even inside the same geo

Are you mostly running gambling traffic only, or other verticals too?

Mostly gambling, but the same carrier-level routing applies to any high-risk vertical. Finance, crypto, adult the networks filter the same way

The methodology scales. Vertical just changes the keywords and sending patterns

Makes perfect sense. Honestly, very few people in gambling discuss the technical side of SMS traffic at that level

Would you be open to continuing this in dm? Feels like there could be some interesting synergies between what you’re doing and what we’re currently scaling on our side
