Hi, guys:

- I have an investor who is offering me USD 100.000 to invest in my new business.
- I can reach more than 10.000.000 Facebook users (from the same country) through fanpages we own.
- I can reach over 1.000.000 users (from the same country) through SMS

I don't want to do affiliate or anything related. I want to build and then drive traffic to my own business... but I don't have one. I'm looking for an already tested, easy to replicate business model, like penny auction sites, groupons, etc. BUT, both of them are saturated in that country. I need to do something different.

So, this is where you can help me: inspire me. Do you know the next penny-auction-like business model? Do you know a blog or forum I could read? Can you give me a tip, piece of advice, whatever?

I'm looking for inspiration. Give me a hand!

"Sell your smart phone" Sites are starting to see some airtime on late night networks, seems to be profitable.

You are looking for inspiration when someone has already offered to invest $100 grand in your business!

If you have used up 99lives please do not blow away 100lives.

Sorry mate, I didn't quite get you, specially the last sentence. English is not my first language, so irony is hard to get.

I think he is talking about your username, he is saying don't blow your 100th chance (implying you are currently on your 99th)

As for business ideas, do something like Groupon that will beat Groupon at its own game. You need something that customers want, and something that businesses want. Groupon can give them a brand, but only for 1 day, why not offer deals that last 7 days?

Its something that ive been playing with for a few weeks now, I just dont have the marketing skills (or the $100,000) to back the idea up!

"Build your site in few minutes" business model is always good. I am trying to utilize it in my hosting business. If you're interested I can provide more info

Most people don't need to build a website. They have Tumblr, Pinterest, Blogger, Twitter, etc. Websites are mostly for small businesses. I'm looking for something everyone could spend money on. Like penny auctions, coupons, etc.

You could start a Yelp, Insider Pages, Yellow Pages type of site...hire a bunch of indians (or whatever) to write reviews and then offer placement to random companies in each city to be at the top of the list or whatever.

If you are good with domains you could invest in decent names, build them up and flip them on a large scale.

You could start a site that offers free web design for a monthly hosting fee then hire a few web designers and use the rest of the money for marketing to local businesses or worldwide...however you can stretch the money.

APP's are oretty good these days and I imagine you could get a decent app designed for 100k. I have always wondered if there was an app that you basically type in what you have in your pantry/fridge and it comes up with meals that you could cook or whatever. I would totally use that since I always seem to have all but one thing to make most of the stuff in my pantry.

This is actually a really awesome idea, except for the part where they have to inventory their entire kitchen. Now if I could take a picture of my fridge... THERE's an app I'd pay for.
Lol, watch the Iron Chef guys whip it out at the next competition. "Find a way to use spinnach, saffron, and gummy bears in one meal? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED."

what is the business model of such sites?

I think the "we buy your phone" sites just buy very cheap (take a look at the prices) and then sell the peaces and usable phones to resellers.

Try to find a niche to disrupt. Or go on twitter and search for "pain" and try to take the agony out of the stuff they are having a pain with.

i'm from portugal and as you know we are living here a crisis time so we have a lot of good opportunities to investors. If you need some help, i'm here to help you

One of the easiest ways to build a business is to copy it from another country such as the U.S.. Many people understand this and sites like pinterest fiverr quickly copied after appearing in the list of the best sites of the year. How to find sites which are growing fast? What interesting sites or business idea appeared in the U.S. recently? sorry for my english...

That's exactly what I'm trying to do. And your English is fine :)

Perhaps we need to go to the forum Macking Money, there are more active users. Just ask more specifically: How to find the young and fast-growing sites?

How much investment was offered? I see decimals not commas. An old copywriting trick eh.

Decimals or comma signs are used different depending on the region (in mine, we use "." to separate the thousands).

Maybe I am ignorant this is the first time I ever heard of this and I always assumed that the person who wrote numbers like that was not to be taken seriously, or, used numbers as a metaphor. I am surprised I never heard anyone mention this before. Back in the 80's there was a popular magazine ad that stood the test of time for damn near 2 decades until someone claimed they were the originator of the system in their sales letter and sales finally waned off. Anywho, it was rumored that the person was actually a russian guy using a girl in his ad and that sales letter had decimals in it when convenient for the pitch.

On another note: I have a system I would license you but my lawyer advise me not to (due to legalities that makes it ill advised right now), so, I will put it like this. If you are willing to pay upfront fee for a business plan and possible back end on a percentage for ongoing consulting that I bring to the table PM me ASAP.
