IM is so stressful

The best thing you can do is try out different things until something works. Never give up and you will be successful.

You'll get used to setting up sites, it's pretty easy. My biggest problem is backlinks. I get sites set up better than any other niche sites in my niche but then can't rank my sites. It's frustrating to work so hard on a site and spend the money but to not be able to get the site ranked. I've spent so much money on this that I really couldn't afford but yet my good sites I can't get ranked. I don't know whether I should trust any services in the Marketplace for backlinks or learn how to do it all on my own. I've made a few hundred bucks in IM so far but it's not even close to enough for me to even break even.

I've found that writing down and having a clear vision of what I want to create helps immensely. Otherwise you will waste tons of time redoing stuff you shouldn't have to redo.

For website, I have a "syndrome of perfection" . One simple website will took me 1 month to complete it.
Because just like I said, I have a "syndrome of perfection" keep changing this and that and wasting time.
So that, I just get some idea => sketch it => outsource it = DONE! in 2-3days. :D

I have been working on a recipe website the past couple of days and it is so damn confusing.Even though I am using Wordpress this is probably one of the most difficult things I have ever done.I have been at it since the moment I woke up this morning till now, which is nearly 7 hours.I have barley accomplished anything because it does not look anything like I want it to look like. Jesus I need a break!

I remember when I first started. I spent my first year working from morning to night, no real breaks in between.

Now 9 years later nothing really has changed.

GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN, RUN

lol

I've been there, hang on! Just don't give up! :)

Yes . . . Like they say: "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail."
However, you can take that too far and get caught up in
"Analysis Paralysis" where nothing gets done because you
are trying to make everything absolutely perfect.

Thank you everybody for the tips, almost got the website complete just rewriting recipes is extremely time consuming. As soon as I am done with rewriting 300 recipes I will be done :).Then I will drop Adsense and some ClickBank products on my page with some decent amount of social media traffic. Then I will Continue to scale it up.

When I have an idea, I grab some wine, a pad of paper, a pen, and draw out screens while I relax. Stress yourself out and you'll start doing shortcuts. Make note of your idea, draw the screens on your pad of paper, write down notes of everything you think will help you build a better mousetrap. Then, when you've gone through your drawings, start to code, build and design. Follow your notes and avoid shortcuts. When you have goals written down for your design and build, you'll forget less and follow your own directions.
