You can't simply put an ad campaign on and direct all the traffics to the website then pray to have orders.

You need to find a product which might be the most needed product. Then you think about what kind of people would buy this product, what do these people have in common. Try to get your ad campaign targeting these kinds of people. Then you need to match your ad copy with these needs, to make people easily know what problem this product could resolve and how this product can make their lives nicer.
