:D

Okay, so...

I bought some white beans about 2 years ago. I've been keeping them in an airtight glass container, and according to the internet they don't spoil. Just a smell test to see if they smell bad will do. They smell fine.

Every time I decided to do something with them, I quickly gave up because it's all complicated shit reading online. But of course, they'll make a glass of water complicated online, so these people can't be trusted :D

So, keeping it simple. I'll put some water in a pot, put the beans in there, and just cook on high heat for... I don't know, we'll see how they look as time goes by.

Hopefully by the end of it they'll be edible. I'll throw some salt and ketchup on them, some cheese on the side, and it's done.

If it doesn't work, I'll throw em away.

I don't wanna soak them, I don't wanna cook on high fire then let sit then simmer on low fire then put in the oven then put the salt on them for 10 minutes, I don't wanna make babies with them, I don't wanna fuck them, I don't wanna go to the moon with them. I just want a SIMPLE way of making them. 1, 2, 3, okay, recipe blog assholes?!?!

Thank you :D

Just eat them out of the can like a man - 10/10 method works.
Don't even chew them ;) NO IM KIDDING DON'T DO THAT LOL

good luck man but be careful your parents may infect you if theyre ill

What?

I live alone dude. It's impossible for them to infect me if they're ill, they're in different countries. I don't even talk to one of them. Hmmm

I can't eat them out of the can bro, they're hard as fuck. I don't have teeth for that, no one does (and then the one freak with titanium teeth pops in and proves me wrong) :D

Enjoy the beans

haha thanks man. But we ain't even close yet. I may end up having to throw them away. I have no idea what I'm doing :D

They seem to be getting softer in the hot water. So far so good.

Navy beans? If its air tight they will keep for 20+ years

Part boil them,

Pan fry garlic and onions just soften them and then get some tomatoes, beef stock cube, worcester sauce, salt, pepper and simmer in a pan. Add the beans.

When you can break the beans with the back of a spoon it's done.

Eat with rice.

Or add potatoes & carrots to the tomato sauce above.

OR cook the same above and add some sausages.

See? Complicated! :D

I only have salt and pepper from all the things you mentioned.

...

Had an unexpected turn of events. As the beans were cooking they got... beefier... so because I put too many beans in a small-ish pot, the pot got full and water started leaking on the side.

So I took another pot, and split them 50/50, and turned on another eye on the stove. So now I got 2 pots cooking :D :alien::cool:

Do you have ketchup? Navy beans are what they use in baked beans if they are small and white... IF it's large fat bean that's more of a broad bean... you need to add some kind of sauce to them even if its tinned - choking them down plain is hardcore
