Realistically, will a business be interested in paying for a chatbot made via the Botpress free plan?

Sure, if you can spot some little business that already have chat on site, but they never answer, maybe you can sell the service to integrate on their sites.

the general mindset is no one likes to speak to a bot, so definitely will not work with small businesses. But again, can give it a try and it might click.

i can say yes, because for example I have a need about a bot for one business to handle some common queries from customers

Sorry to burst your bubble, but unless you do a great great site with lots of testimonials and how to integrate it well with their FAQs and other content, it won't work. There are tons of sites already doing this, so you need to offer something different. Maybe in a different language or some kind of service which helps people.

Some businesses might find the Botpress free plan sufficient for their needs, others may see value in upgrading to a paid plan based on factors such as functionality, scalability, support, and budget.
