Im begging you, read this.

Gaming youtube is a big thing for many, though. And has been for long. Just deleting youtube section would be...wrong. I don't know if forums have this feature but negative keywords for the "new posts" section would be a w e s o m e. So you could just put youtube in your shitlist, and the threads with youtube in the title would not show up.

Or engineer a greasemonkey script that hides those threads - this way there would be no stress to the servers.. even better.

Agreed with the OP..... Whenever I try ti find something new there are always newbies asking for bots... Fucking annoying stuff.

Didn't know that! I guess with the amount of members on BHW it would be very difficult to moderate the rep system.

But still some improvements could be done to customize the system for better performance and efficiency; as displaying negative rep points bellow a post and giving the community -not the member- the chance to dispute that negative point & if a minimum value of disputes have been filled the negative point should be removed.

If there is a will to make BHW a close community, a method to achieve it could be easily made, and I don't think that most of the new members bring in any financial benefits to the forum's owner. Actually closing it on current members and requiring a small subscription fee from new comers would benefit everyone more.

I think the minimum requirement to start a thread should be:
1. 25 posts
2. Minimum 12 rep
3. member for min 2 months.

-open a new thread (any section) with min 25-30 post OR 1month+ acc
-same with commenting on the youtube section threads
