I don't own this forum, I don't moderate this forum, and im not very well known on this forum. However I care about this forum. I think I can speak for everybody else that cares about this great place when I say this:

Close the YouTube section for a week.

There have literally been twenty threads asking about view bots, Spk, Spk not donating money, more view bots, and more view bots. I am sick of it, and I am POSITIVE there is at least 100 other people that are too.

This is just a suggestion, but I think it would make a lot of users that are here for the FORUM and not for VIEW BOTS happy.

I'm fed up of all the YouTube stuff, too, but this wouldn't actually solve anything.

It would just lead to more work for mods as the morons just post in other sections which aren't relevant. I can see it now:

"omg why can't I post in the youtube section"
"omg do i have to pay to access the youtube section, why do you mods scam us?"
"omg the mods moved all the youtube threads into exec vip so they can steal all the good methods"
"omg ispk is a scammer, blah blah blah"
"omh i've made 3 posts on this forum but i NEED a working bot as my family are dying"

I'm sure a shiny new trend will come along soon and everyone will move on to something else, anyway.
 
How about banning anyone PUSHING the subject instead of closing the entire section.
 
seconded! everytime i hit the new post button i would always see a "youtube bot" phrase on 1 of the threads. so to keep me getting annoyed i just moved to the dl and hire a freelancer sections. i do hope that this hype will be over soon and all will be back to the normal youtube marketing. :)

me too, but i have a feeling it will be a while.
 
It seems like you are not the only one who has caught the attention of BHW website management about this. Others have posted their irritation with those threads about youtube bots.
 
Or just lock the threads with a message saying something along the lines of : Please stop asking about Youtube bots, if you post a similar question anywhere on the forum, you will be banned.

People will get the message pretty quick

Would be a good idea, but it is not really a fair and ideal solution.

I think mods should probably step in and place some sort of sticky warning thread in the Youtube section, and if anyone chooses to ignore it then they can receive the Ban Hammer!
 
How about a new YouTube subsection called Questions/Concerns or something like that where noobs can post, and we can just ignore them? Also, new posts in the Youtube section should not show up on the BHW main page for 1 week to give us all some relief. This way, everyone who doesnt like it is happy, and there wont be people spamming irrelevant sections. Basically isolate the problem. Even if a new subsection won't be created, keeping it in one section and simply stopping that section from showing on the main page should be plenty good.

or make it so you must have 100 posts and 30 days on the forum to start a thread in that section.

that shud get everyone's attention lol
