Hi, I've been looking to get into the iGaming business as an affiliate for a while now. Thing is, I just can't seem to find any info about it online. Can someone briefly explain how the process goes (traffic, signing up, things to keep in mind)? Thanks

You need to at least know your target market. The restrictions and rules are very different in each region. If you are asking something so general like this i doubt any bros in the industry can answer your question. In individual countries some are legal and some are not. You have to be clear about your direction before anyone can actually advise you.

I understand. I think I’ll be starting with the USA first, and I’ll do countries in Europe later. Normally, when I’m starting in a new industry, I can find a lot online about it. But that doesn’t seem the case here haha

Thanks for helping out !

Hello!
Entering iGaming as an affiliate is a promising but detail-oriented path. Key aspects to consider:

Traffic: As an iGaming partner, your goal is to attract high-quality traffic to a casino or sportsbook platform. Major traffic sources include:

  • SEO: Creating websites or blogs with reviews, tips, and articles optimized for search queries related to casinos, games, and betting.
  • Social Media: Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok can effectively attract users.
  • PPC: Paid advertising (Google Ads) or social media targeting. It's important to closely monitor ad spend and understand the advertising platforms' requirements for iGaming.
  • Email Marketing and Influencer Partnerships.
Registration: To participate, you need to sign up for an affiliate program. If you're a beginner, it's important to understand that not all affiliate programs will be willing to start a partnership with you right away. As a beginner, you might want to try the Pepper Partners program. They do not turn away new affiliates and offer 24/7 support for any questions.

Payment Models:

  • Revenue Share: You receive a percentage of the profits the company earns from players you refer.
  • CPL (Cost per Lead): A one-time payment for each new player who registers.
  • CPA (Cost per Acquisition): A one-time payment for each new player who registers and makes a deposit.
  • Hybrid Models: These combine CPA and Revenue Share, which can be useful in the early stages of your affiliate journey.
Analytics and Optimization: Continuously analyze which traffic sources are bringing the highest quality traffic and optimize your strategy accordingly.

Actually it's more tough than that.

Google can block your content if they find that you are promoting betting. (AdSense won't be approved)

Talking about social FB and Insta can any day ban your account if they find that you are posting content related to casino/betting.

Now, if you try to write blog/content related to the niche and promote it using google ads/fb ads, in 90% of cases your ad will get disapproved. If you want strong fb account then you will have to rent ad accounts from any agency.

(Correct me if I am wrong)

I will suggest, first join someone who is already been doing that, learn from there and then start on your own. I too want to do the same.

You'll need a website blog social media or some other online presence to generate that traffic. Then you sign up with an affiliate program often offered by the iGaming operators themselves or through specialized affiliate networks.

So check this out — somehow people are still running ads on Google in Turkey, even though it’s totally illegal and banned. Like… how on earth are they pulling this off? Can someone enlighten me, please?

Most likely they are cloaking it from the google ad moderators or have an insider.

Organic seo still pretty easy days, I know a couple guys making a killing from igaming SEO. Dont want to reveal everything but grey-hat tactics like ctr manipulation and viral traffic (create your own bot farm or outsource to someone like scalerankings) still works to this day
