1. Does the blue/verified checkmark persist if you change username?
2. Does anyone here have a valuation method for Instagram accounts? Know of any legitimate brokers or marketplaces? Trying to determine potential resale value.

1. I would contact Instagram directly and make them aware to ensure that the transition is smooth.
2. The only site I know that can do this is FameSwap
 
You’re actually unable to change your username on a verified account - you have to either contact Instagram support, file a request through media portal, or have someone do it on your behalf.

NO you cant change username, support or not
Fameswap are scammers
There are 2 sellers here in the marketplace, i haven't used them but they are trusted members and you will need around 10 pieces of good PR so prepare for that

I don't know anything about Fameswap but I do know for a matter of fact that you can submit username changes on verified accounts. I've successfully done it for clients at least 6 times.

I have changed verified usernames multiple times in the past, maybe they have changed the rules recently but I do know you could do it in the past. As far as fameswap I never had an issue with them?
 
1. Instagram deletes the verification sign the second you change your details
2. Most people will try to scam you outside of BHW, your best best is to purchase a JR Vip subscription and try selling it here in the marketplace
