IG shoutout questions

I have a few questions about IG shoutouts, I wanna try to make money with shoutouts and I'd really appreciate some help.

1) Is it true that shoutouts prices for brands/acc that sell products should be higher than other shoutouts like shoutouts to another acc on ur niche or to a girl who just wants u to post her pic?
2) What's the average price for a shoutout to brands/accs selling products for 1000 likes?
3) If I get paid a % for every sale through my link or coupon code how do I track sales and make sure the brand doen't lie about sales?

1) Yes, if it's a product advert it certainly does degrade your account's feed visual quality more than something niche related that looks more like a regular post
2) Depends hugely on the number of followers and niche you're in, but I doubt you'll sell any shoutouts with 1k likes only
3) I don't think you can really, maybe I'm wrong about this one

Thanks for the response, I'm in the fashion niche and I have 15K and get 1000 likes, I know that's not a lot but I see brands collaborating with some accs with around 2000 likes, I hope I can sell shoutouts too.

It's really hard to sell shoutouts in fashion niche because it's saturated af, but your engagement is decent. Wait till you're at least 50k and try contacting some advertisers in that niche, contacting them now would be waste of both time and potential.

At this stage, if you really want to sell shoutouts, you could manually contact brands to see if they would want to work with you. You would most likely be paid only in terms of sales commission, which would be tracked through an affiliate link they give you. Honestly though, unless you are a personal influencer (thats you in the photos) I wouldn't suggest selling shoutouts until you reach 50k followers
 
Good questions though! And also the response. I have been wondering the same thing too :)

I'm not a personal influencer, but it took me a LOT OF TIME to reach 15k, I think instagram won't even exist anymore when I reach 50k, so I'll just try now, thanks for the advise.

Lmao are you doing follow/unfollow method? Just post good quality pictures with good hashtags while following people in your niche and you will get there in no time.
 
I can't really help with your questions since I'm also new to the whole shoutout selling thing :D sold about 7-8 on my 12.5k niche account. The only thing I would like to recommend : Don't do permanent posts. I usually delete the post after 12-24 hours, therefore your timeline looks clean.

Yes I follow people in my niche and post quality content but I'm too lazy to post everyday, sometimes I don't post when I'm unfollowing cause I get less likes, I should post more often I know but I don't want my engagement to fall
