IG journey towards 100k followers

Hey fellas, I opened this thread in order to keep my self motivated through my journey.
My first aim is to reach 100k followers.
I have two accounts and now have 2k followers, I intend to update my stats 2 - 3 times a week, please chip in if you have any tips for a beginner!
Everything is being done manually.
Guys what is a good follow back rate for follow method?

If you want to be really productive, you can create a few accounts. Let the accounts age by only using the most popular hashtags and uploading a few pictures a day for 1-3 weeks. Then pay for an automation service to manage the accounts for you. Many people like FL (followliker) or Instagress there are others but those are the two I have experience with. I personally use Instagress the most and automate 5 accounts with their service. Each of my accounts have different niches and all I have to do is upload the content to the accounts with the most popular hashtags and all the automation will do the rest. I would also recommend buying a few thousand followers. Once you are over 10k, it is easier to get more organic followers as long as your ratios are good. I have instagress follow 2k max then unfollow down to 0 again and repeat the process. I feel like people are more likely to follow you if you keep the amount of people you are following below 2k. As long as you target the people you are following, you will gain tons of followers that are real users. This will help you get a decent amount of REAL followers as quickly as possible until you start to really have an audience that can grow hundreds of unique followers on it's own.
 
Having 100k active followers is nice, but how do you plan to monetize them once you achieve your goal?

I Appreciate your advice, I shall consider automation after I have understood Insta perfectly. Still new to this, So by doing it manually I can learn and may be after some time I can switch to automation:)

Hmm, Not thought of it yet. I aim to have a high engagement rate and may be look for shoutouts, I would be happy if any of you could suggest some ways to monetize. However I feel that without having real engaging followers I cannot think of monetization.

Thanks mate, Yes the niche I choose is something which I personally like so that I can continue this for long!
 
Here are some updates, I am currently focusing of my first account(Account A). I recently started the second account(Account B) so the numbers are pretty low as I am just starting out!
Format- Followers/Following

17/04/2016
Account A - 1818(+177)/6333(+854) | Follow back rate= 20.74%

Account B - I have only 30 followers, will start putting numbers once I reach 1K.

Please suggest anything I can do other than Follow/ Unfollow method. I post one or two Images/ Day.

Account A :1972(+106)/6829 (+496) Follow back rate = 21.37%

Account B : Haven't yet reached 1K

Mate, it's your last update. Here, I can see your improvement. Please try to choose perfect niches, and try to upload lucrative photos. Hashtags and automation services are another exact way to increase followers.
If you fall in any problem then you can follow other related threads. That'll be pretty helpful for you.
 
21% follow ratio is not bad, but you can probably do better if you are doing it manual. Try going after people who also comment on photos within your niche. Most of those are more engaging and will result in higher followerbackratios. Over the long run will save you time from follow/unfollow

Thanks mate, can I post pictures from other accounts in my niche. I give credits like 'pic courtesy @xxx', I am strictly following niche specific people

Thank you jokerseo, I am doing it manually as I enjoy both the niches. Thank you for the comment follow tip and I will implement it soon!
One question : many people talk about using proper hastag, any guide on bhw you could link me to?
 
I have reached the limit of 7.5k following, Will be unfollowing for about two days. Will update again soon as I start following.

Sorry, I did not update because I was unfollowing for about 3 days. Then I was hit by both follow and unfollow temp ban. Will update as soon as I start following again.
 
At 98 followers right now. sorry to hear about the temp ban. Will Whisper you when i have permission to :) (minimum 15 posts)
