This is now an enforced rule as people are tending to do it more often now.

This will be a instant ban for those who are caught. It is fine to paste codes and such but linking directly or outing someones page is not ethical and will result in much hassles and usually the owners pages being removed.

you know you would think this site being black hat and all it would allow me to offer a trade- i see it all over these forums and maybe they have to be doners or what not. I always thought the ban was for "outing" or posting someone else's page. Is there a reason you cannot post your own page if you want? Just curious...

Well I see that, but I interpreted it to mean that you can't post other people's pages, essentially revealing pages that are using tricks and showing the world they may be getting fans by nefarious means. I don't think that's the same as posting one's own fan page. Granted I'm new here and haven't posted links to any pages anyhow, but this is just what I read into it.

That could be it too. What I've noticed, however, is that when someone posts a page URL, he/she is asked to take down the link (or the mods remove it). There could be exceptions too. Either way, best stay safe, right?
