Hey guys,
as you might know, I am very frequent BST buyer here.
After a buying spree for PBN and Guest Posts over the last months for several projects, I checked ahrefs.com tonight - and saw link drops on all projects I bought that kind of links.
I also went to GWT and checked the listed links I was able to assign to a link purchase due to the site quality and the domain names (sites like CheapCostaBlancatravels.com usually don't link to me organically). I was shocked to see the outcome. I found quite a few properties where the link has been removed completely (I always strg+f for my domain name within the source code) or deactivated (a href has been removed, so just the plain link sits there without being actual linked).
I can only imagine that BST sellers want to decrease the OBL ratio by doing things like that, everything else makes no sense.
As most of the PBNs don't provide reports, I am not able to assign them to a particular seller, unfortunately.
This concludes with two consequences for me:
1. No purchases anymore, without getting the actual URL
2. Putting the URLs always into a backlink tracker which monitors that they are life.
Sellers promise you the heaven here in there OPs and I am sick of it. I will out the sellers in reviews for not meeting what they committed to and I will also out sellers where I have clear evidence that a backlink has been intentionally removed. I advise you to go over all listed features in purchased BSTs and randomly pick a link from your report to check if it has been done properly. If not - no PM, just out them. I noticed for example that sellers that offer "social promotion" of guest posts, don't do that for real pretty often. Keep your eyes open, don't become one of the sheeple that just buy and move on.
