Hi

I am not going to say big things. But if you are from India, you know about the latest threat of corona virus. Plus you also know that, If the virus goes viral in India, It's going to do a lot of damage.

So, what I am trying to say If you have resources, use them to aware people, especially the uneducated ones who don't clue about the situation. I and my friends are trying our best to tell them about the risk and donating masks from the last few weeks, but it's not enough. Money can be earned again.

If you have resources, use them. It's about our country.

Avoid making any kind of donation in the name of this threat, 99% of them are scams.

Yes ask everyone to wash their hands. Things got worse in UP after the irresponsible behaviour of that singer. NVM stay at home stay safe !!

I'm surprised to see that it's only 283 confirmed cases in India.

Considering the dense population and the hygiene in India, I'd imagine that Corona would wreak havoc over there.

Could it be that it's worse in India than other places, just that it's not reported?

I don't think it's being under reported as of now. It has affecting India very recently specially ever since people have started returning to their home. There are limited labs which test for corona viruses in India. Its just matter of time within a week's time the real impact would be seen. Its spreading exponentially. I hope people would understand the severity of the issue and stay safe. Self quarantine seems like the best way to deal with it right now

On a more serious note, I think we really can't change how they think. Someone in Kolkata had to be hospitalized because he got food poisoning from drinking cow urine. Can you believe it?? :/

and then they wonder why everyone in whole world is so racist towards them.. this shit ashamed every indian.. and makes the life hell of indians living in other countries (doesn't matter which religion) because people makes most dumb jokes on this and its not like those jokes not true but its just not every Indian is dumb like them.. who drinking cow urine and throwing cow urine parties..

Government is not even checking people who didn’t go overseas. This is biggest issue in India, lot of unreported cases may be walking in crowded areas.

In the northern parts of India there are not many people living other countries among them. So it wasn't a big issue. Now it just started to spread and I can tell you its going to boom in the coming weeks.

India only had reported confirmed cases because the people who were returning from foreign countries were infecting their relatives and the people around them. The infection began because of external sources and not inside India itself, we are in stage 2 right now and are in the brink of hitting stage 3(community infection) where the infection might spread widely just because of the people who returned from infected countries and started spreading it from people to people. India might go into quarantine mode soon to prevent stage 3.

The infected ones are isolated right now and their relatives are being kept under observation. Also, the people who they interacted with are being tracked (Although it's not possible to find each and everyone, so I believe the infection count will go up)

It's even worse in schools ( due to small size of schools and just about a lot of students). I think school holidays should be extended to 15 April or for another month.
If it gets worse, India doesn't have capabilities like China or USA to combat this virus. Even in normal conditions there aren't many ICU beds available. Imagine if it gets worse then how will India combat it?
Indians are already at high risk due to a lot of population in a small country.
Hopefully everything will resolve quickly.
