Say your keywords are stuck around position 12-16 should they be moving a little within weeks of links put together for them? Also it is a mistake if a companies trying to rank a type of product you specialize in to your home page?

Could trying to rank your home page hold you back as opposed to a specific collections page?

Also I realize SEO takes plenty of time. It just seems we've been stuck for a while in these positions. Also doing some additional stuff to help with the SEO. Will probably give this service 1-2 months more and hold them to the 6 month mark as they said they thought it would take.

Thanks !

SEO do take time, 2 week if not a ideal time to check, probably wait for a month, if you did created quality backlink. But most case even you can start to see improvement in 24 hours that quite depend on many things, like google server update, how frequent refer site crawled by google and how authority the refer site, keyword competitiveness etc. So tell me what kind of backlink you are talking of? Is it PBN?

SEO takes time but it does not take 6 month unless you're in a high comp niche/keyword

My very first website I ever did SEO on ranked in exactly 30 days for a 100k keyword and I ranked another 100k keyword in about 5-6 weeks.

SEO companies keep you on a string so you can keep paying, if you learn SEO and purchase what you need from the marketplace not only will you save money, you will rank faster.

They are doing PBN'S basically made to be relevant to my niche, etc.

I'm starting to feel that way about SEO companies too. It does seem like the marketplace here could be a solid way to go. Also can probably get things done for less money as you say.

It is high competition though as some sites like Amazon and Staples are ranking here but also some niche sites also.

Just give it time, SEO is a long process if you're in a high-comp niche (Which im guessing you're in)

I have been using someone (not in BHW) for about 6 months and I have them trying to rank long tail keywords and they are still not on the 1st page. Most of the keywords are on the 2nd and 3rd page. However, I do have them changing the keywords every month. They send me the reports and everything is fine but so damn long... should I fire them...

How many pages are they doing SEO for? and how many links are they building a month?

6 months is a long time, you should be ranking well before that but maybe your in a high comp niche I dont know.

In my last contract I requested 3 to 6 months for the first results. The previous SEO work was sloppy and I needed time to clean up and do the right thing.

I have about 40 articles and they are doing 2 pages per month and building links everyday manually to those pages. The comp. is not high but doesn't seo take a while now unlike before to hit the 1st Page? I'm monetizing just with adsen$e. How do people get the best bang for their buck if they have 40 articles to try to rank? Thanks

The time for SEO is largely based on competition. Chances are though, that after 2 months of not seeing any movement in SERPS, PA/DA/TF/CF, etc. something may be wrong. There are some companies that do very little work for the first month or so just because they can make the excuse that SEO takes time. Additionally, if they're only trying to rank you with PBNs, that's a big red flag. It takes a large variety of methods to actually rank. If you can get a specific list of what they're doing month by month, that can give you and us a much better idea on if they know what they're doing.

I getting manual links like web 2.0, doc shares, video shares, 2nd tiers, edu links. I'm switching up my keywords every month and my rankings are 2nd or 3rd page after a couple of months.Hopefully, the seo company isn't taken advantage. But this is a new website and It has been almost 6 month with no 1st page rankings. What is the best way to spend money on adsen$e websites to make a profit... i have a great budget from my CB earnings just don't want to take advantage off because my seo is lacking.

SEO is all about patience, you have to wait and analyze everything that which method is important and which is not.
If you find good review for any method then I suggest go with that.

it all depends bro thats a very broad question you are asking, I suggest to analyze what you are doing with SEO you current ranking situation and move forward, 1-2 months aint shit in my humble opinion it has taken me personally almost a year to rank highly competitive keywords but ive done it so its doable just take a look at what you are doing

I wouldn't recommend switching keywords so often. One first page ranking is better than 10 third page rankings (assuming all keywords get the same amount of traffic).

Is your site silo structured? If not you should silo it.

With the correct structure you only have to build links to a few pages to pass link juice through out the entire website.

I just put up a amazon website with about 30 articles and they are already ranking and its been just 1 week since I started SEO.

Also targeting 2 pages a month will take you YEARS to rank at this rate. I would drop this seo company.

Yeah I don't like that they only do PBN'S. I have actually done some work to get some legit back links from relevant sites to add to or and also mix up the links a little such as getting links to blog posts.

Do you think getting the high quality links from the marketplace here is safe? Such as from authority websites, etc. ? Also what are some solid ways to get a nice looking back link profile to g00gle?

Thanks

I should add the company I'm working with is being careful to bypass any penguin penalties which takes a bit of extra work too - getting links also based on branding as opposed to just doing keywords. I have a feeling PBN's mixed with some authority sites and blogs could be a powerful mix. Will see as it goes forward though into month 5-6.

Builds link from high authority sites, it's important to balance the power with trust. There are several services in the marketplace that can help with.

what about onpage seo and anchor diversity?

it happend to me twice, my websites got stuck for a while, i have builed many links, nothing happend, then i change my keyword density and now i am on page 1
