Certain members like Vigilante and a few others would never have been banned for what seems to be an amount of trivial accumulated warnings.

Their contribution far more valuable.

At some point you gotta think like a businessman owning this forum, what brings more eyeballs on here? I doubt the real owner even knows details of such decisions because it is just not a smart business move to ban such members.

Life is not black and white. At some turns you just gotta bend the rules in certain situations.

On the other hand, there are certain members who clearly manipulate the forum with multiple accounts, extremely obvious for anyone paying attention, clearly stealing value from the forum and not getting banned because of "lack of proof".

I'd get demoted or banned the first day as a mod and I'm fine with it.

I live in truth.

Rules are Rules :) Be it a newbie or any old member.
They are just doing the work honestly, a lot of my friends got banned but still knowingly/unknowingly they breached the rules.

Mods always help us by keeping thread in a correct forum, save for scamming, helping sellers with guidelines (rather than rejecting thread approvals). The task isn't easy trust me :)

Let's not forget about the random warnings ;) I once posted a FREE wordpress nulled theme since some users asked for it. I received an warning for "Selling outside of the marketplace". After some back-and-forth messages with the mod that gave me the warning, he reached the conclusion that even though my post wasn't selling anything, the provider where i uploaded the files was askin for money (There was a "Donate" button on the website but the download was completely free. The site is anonfiles, for the curious ones). What else can i say?

As always, there's stuff that goes on behind the scenes with these members that the public side of the forum doesn't get to see.

I'm not going to mention any member specifically, however, the members who are banned are given chance & chance, and deserved their ban 3x over, unfortunately.

Just because a member is helpful, doesn't mean they can treat members however they want or attempt to scam members behind the scenes.

In the end, they decided to break the rules, they understood they'd be banned in doing so.

I like the idea thinking for a business point of view, maybe we get to vote on unbanning some folks.

It's BHW so infractions are almost inevitable but aside from banning maybe fines could be another option since demotions and restrictions all give sone edge to the warnings.

Obviously, anyone who's stayed super long on BHW will get back with a newbie account or buy one out there. So why not find a way to navigate the issues way it all and see what's what.

I agree with the OP on this, green insight by the way. Thanks

And votes full of bots there.

He not only knew about the ban, he thought it a good idea.

The real owner is a lot more aware than you might think.

If you get banned from BHW, you really deserve it. Over the years, I have accumulated 10s of infractions and still have my account.

Realistically speaking, I should be banned as well, but thanks to some kind souls, I'm allowed to keep posting here.

Rules are meant either to be followed or to be broken.

Its an individuals choice, if someone thinks being privileged that's a mistake.

If someone knowingly keeps breaking rules then that means they don't value it.

I too miss a lot of people here who contributed in one way or another.

It's sad they didn't value themselves like others did.

But being a mod and making these decisions in these situations is one hell of a job.

That's why I am not a mod, neither is OP or many others on this forum.

Thank god you are not a mod here. Just joking, I wish you good luck in future, good thing is that anyone can apply to become a mod.

I would bring back mickyfu. Biggest comedian on here.
Vigilante and Sherb were hot shot members too.
RIP to all those VIP members banned. Gone but not forgotten.
