Start a website based on something you know lots about. Do keyword research, write lots of content, post on social media, put ads on your site (amazon associates, adsense etc)
If you are very lucky you might make some cash. Nothing is easy though as @Heiko said

Hi Chris. I would suggest to go to Making Money section and read tons of methods and after you have enough knowledge about your favourite method, start slow and if you see some nice results you can scale things up.

There is no easy way, many ways could look to be simple but you need to work for them. Decide on one thing and stick to it, don't try one then say it does not work and move to the next one and do that cycle that many people do. When I say try I am not saying to not work, invest daily time to making money via IM a reality.
