Hi All,
So my journey is continuing. yada yada. Journies are very good. But no money has been made. A month or two ago I spent $50 (free coupon) on bing adverts and didn't get one sell. It was a $250 product so maybe that's where I went wrong. Anyway lately I've upped my efforts at really trying to make something happen online. I've investigated chris farrell membership and wealthy affiliate, and am a little tempted by both - but reading reviews on BHW, also see most people say , yeah they have some value (seems to be consensus) but on the whole - BHW has everything and more a learning IM could want.
2 days I ago I invested in a whiteboard for my bedroom / office... because I know this is an ideas game. Sure we need action, but so much revolves around ideas and planning, and getting your head around the right things etc. So it hurt my wallet a bit but it's on the wall. Nice. Now I need to use it. First task from what i've learnt so far is to find a good niche to work in.
Here's my brainstorm of how I plan to go about doing that... do the key points look ok?

Do you think i need to be considering anything else?
Seconldy I have some questions (they are the purple pen)
1) How do i assess the competition strength on first page of google (in terms of figuring out how hard it will be to get an organic first place for my long tail niche keyword i've selected)
2) is google keyword planner and trends, enough to use, to determine popularity of the niche i'm thinking of selecting?
3) should i focus on clickbank to start with?
4) Is gravity a decent metric to use to figure out if a product is good or not? if it is what gravity range should I be looking out for in selecting my product.
Thanks for the advice guys.
